RE: Ball State at Toledo WBB Game Thread
Yeah, on the court Sallee is a whiner, always complaining at the same time putting a team on the floor that is clearly instructed to push the boundaries of the rules, whether it be through hard fouls or other means. For example, he's one of the coaches that has a tendency to step 2-3 feet onto the court during play, when the ball is in his end of the court.

For example, this season 100% of the time when his opponent is inbounding the ball under their own basket, Becki will take her defensive stance with her feet out of bounds on the play, which is illegal. It is clearly not an accident because she does it every single time - so clearly coached (for what reason, I am not sure). Up until last night, the refs have done nothing. In the UT game, the one time I recall UT had the ball that way, Becki took her stance out of bounds, but the ref told her to move before he handed the ball off. My only guess is that Cullop saw that in the scout and informed the refs about it before the game. I'd rather the inbounding player just plunk her in the back with the ball and see if that would force the ref to call a T, but no one has tried that so far.

On the other hand, I have watched some of his post-game press conferences and he is always complementary to his opponent and doesn't portray the same whiny personality he does on the court. So, my guess is his antics are carefully planned to push the boundaries, and since he gets away with it more often than not, he keeps it up.
