Boise State as a division winner may have had priority over San Jose State as 3rd in their division. It wouldn't be surprising if Boise preferred to play in Texas.

EMU-SJSU in Boise. Two of the smallest fan bases in the country in the most remote bowl in the country. Maybe there should be an over/under on attendance!

Although congrats to EMU for having a good enough season to be in a bowl. For many years they were a perennial bottom 10 member.

EMU has been solid under Chris Creighton, he's done a phenomenal job at one of the hardest jobs in FBS. Taking out his first two seasons when they were rebuilding he's two games above .500 with bowls in 5 of the past 7 seasons. Imo he was a close win against Toledo (would've won the MAC West and finished the regular season 9-3) from getting hired away by a P5 program for sure.

Boise is a good bowl game spot, one of the few cold weather spots that can work. If fans & an organizer wanna do a game and they’re 6-6 or better, bowl game.

A few Pepsi cans is all it takes to boost attendance. I might bring a dozen or so myself!

New Mexico Bowl and Las Vegas Bowl switch times and channels because of the Raiders' broadcast time switch.

Florida v. Oregon State Las Vegas Bowl will kickoff at 2:15pm ET on ESPN, while the BYU v. SmU New Mexico Bowl will kickoff at 7:30pm ET on ABC.

Just criminal that this game is on the first Friday of bowl season in the mid afternoon while much worse teams are playing prime time network games.
