Cure Bowl will be fun. Two of the top G5 schools, both 11-2 and both conference champs. Glad to see both Troy and UTSA made the final CFP rankings going into it.

Happy for Illinois to get the Relia Quest (Tampa) Bowl. Was expecting Spencer Rattler and South Carolina though, that was disappointing. According to all of the rankings they are the best remaining SEC team behind the NY6 teams and Citrus Bowl bound LSU. But then again we get a team that didn't beat Clemson and Tennessee.

Congratulations to UConn making the Myrtle Beach Bowl with Marshall this year. I have to admit that I thought that UConn would never again make a FBS bowl again as an independent. Mora won't get the coach of the year but closely deserves it.

And when you get a beach included in your trip, you won (unless SC is cold in December).

Music City Bowl is a rematch of the 2 teams that played in last year's Citrus Bowl. Iowa vs. Kentucky. Also this will be the first time Iowa has played in the Music City Bowl, although Iowa was invited before in 2020 before the game got canceled due to the other team getting COVID

I wonder if the Myrtle Beach Bowl wished they had gotten the East Carolina - Coastal Carolina matchup that will be played in Birmingham.

It can be cold. On the other hand it could also be in the 70's. You just never know what you're going to get,

I agree - that is must see TV. Both of them dominated their championship game.

IMO this is one of the very best bowl matchups.

Yes, the deep south is weird. Save for the southern part of Florida, which is basically always warm, you can get anything.

For example, here in south Louisiana, a week or so ago, we had high temps in the 50s. The past few days the temp has been scraping 80.

Odd to see a Cincinnati-Louisville game played in Boston.

Don't think this logical rivalry will get played much with Cincinnati in Big 12. UL still has UK and, for now, Cincinnati still has Miami. Doesn't leave much room for annual ooc opponents.
