Where were you born?
Where did you go to HS?
Where do you live now (can list an MSA if you don't want to list a specific city)?

If the answers are Nacogdoches, Chireno, and Conroe then living behind the pine curtain your whole life would make it understandable that you only knew of about 7 universities prior to finding the internet

I could be from damn El Paso and if I had never heard of Tarleton State as someone from Texas, then it’s an issue. I’m not an expert, nor do I claim to be. And I certainly don’t say stupid **** like “70% of Tarleton fans will pRoUdLy tell you where they went to school”. But, as you can see from other posters’ responses, Tarleton State is just an obscure, second rate agriculture college that’s trying to overstep it’s reasonable boundaries. Nobody wants that. They’re unheard of.

Aside from their hideous stadium expansion, TSU has done nothing to show they’re worthy of even CONSIDERATION. Hell, I’d rather have Lamar. Let alone SFA, Chattanooga, EKU, ect.

Jonsey just ignore the JMU thugs, Sam Houston hurt them a few years ago and they’re still very upset about it clearly.

Ask them about Cole Johnson’s CTE, or if their softball team is going to play this year. That usually gets them pretty upset.

The difference between JSU and JMU, JSU lost one game to NDSU and JMU won one game.

Dont know how it happened but somewhere along this route SBC got some losing teams to join and lots of folks decided it was now a better conference.

I will give SBC credit for showing that many FCS programs were better than many, the at the time, G5 programs. App, CCU and JMU walked right in and competed at the top of their conference. Marshall was a winning program in the MAC but lost more in CUSA and it understandable they wanted out to play in the lower level SBC. Now watch their record improve.

SBC fans are happy with their conference mates and I understand why. The league does have schools who are all as close as you could hope for in parity. Even Tx State has a chance to win in SBC. The new will wear off and reality will come marching back in to forum fans who have bought into the myth.

He only did that after Kennesaw joined. Before hand he was saying bad things about them as a CUSA candidate, and that CUSA wouldn’t be doing it right if they added KSU. Of course he pretended to be happy after they were added! He actually hated KSU.
