Well, do we continue our domination at Waldo North, or does this season continue to go down in flames?

Treyson Bourguet has looked better and better with each outing, but he's getting no help from a very below-average O-line and WR corps. The TE room is decimated by injury and the Sean Tyler is our only RB. Bourguet will have to put the team on his back here, and hope for great games from Crooms and Tyler. I don't feel good about relying on a true frosh QB in his 4th start to go on the road and win a rivalry game. Tough situation. Hopefully our WRs don't drop any more passes that hit them in the hands.

If there's any positive, it's that CMU is also not great and is suffering an identity crisis. Which QB is going to get the nod? Will they continue to rotate 2-3 QBs? If our defense can shut down the running from their freshman QB Emmanual, I think they can do enough to win. CMU's pass game is pretty bad.

This will be another ugly midweek game, a pox on the game of football. Rivalry games should always be on Saturday.

TL is 3-2 against the Chips. Just sayin

This could be the lowest attended game in the series history. Cold snowy Tuesday, 2 crappy teams, and opening day of firearms season...MAC rivalry week really needs to be an October Saturday.

Feels like this is the least amount of interest in this game in a long time....

Have to agree that this may be the least interesting CMU/WMU game in a long long time.

We are not very good either. In the last two games we somehow pulled out a victory.

They are really a Jekyll and Hyde team. No idea which team or what half they may show up in.

I will say our defense seems to be improving (at times) and adjustments are starting to be made if things aren’t working on defense at half time.

Our QB Richardson had been horrible this year. But just like you guys mentioned with your team, our WRs have not helped our QB in many, many cases. We have a couple freshman qbs that like to run. That’s about all. WR, TE and RB corps are all decimated by injuries.

And we do have a ton of other injured players. Over 20 are out as of the last few games.

I expect a close game. May also be low scoring if the weather is any issue.

Tim Lester never prepares well when we could see any one of a few different QB's.

I think the chimps win this one by 2 scores.

It's really all there's left to play for. A win at Mt. Pee would at least create ONE positive note for the season, which is much better than another loss to them and staring at a 3-win season.

Let me clarify that when I say moral victory here I mean in terms of how important the rivalry is, that is a big deal to me. I just don't think it would do anything to improve my view on the season as a whole.

And I just noticed it’s an 8:00 pm start! Between the late starts, the countless, continuous TV timeouts and unnecessary video replay reviews in certain instances, I swear they are trying to make these games as tough on the home fans as they possibly can. Just ridiculous. One home MACtion game per team per year. That’s enough!

Agreed. This has been a frustrating season

First game ill this year due to a winter storm warning in Northern Indiana and SW Michigan. I’m not up for that craziness.

Every student who attends WMU or CMU should experience this game on campus on a Saturday at least once in their 4 years. If not this is how traditions die. There are just no more Western/Central Weekends...

MACtion has hurt the MAC. It makes us the football freakshow in November: ridiculous play with zero fans in the stands. It's so easy to get on TV now that it's pointless.
