That's strange, why would they under report? FCS teams do that in the playoffs because then they don't have to pay the NCAA as much, is there a reason an FBS team would do that in the regular season?

I know when South used to play at Ladd on more than one occasion they had problems with the ticket scanners and would just wave people through if they had a ticket. And, they reported actual attendance numbers.

I still enjoy going out to the home games and fighting the crowds entering and exiting the stadium. Plus, tailgating parties are still fun.
Yeap. But nothing like actually being there though.

I was at the game.
The attendance was actually surprisingly good coming off a loss. Not 18k, but not that bad for what we had coming into the day.

I agree. I have season tickets for all South games of course, but to other schools, pretty much stay within the walls of my man cage.

I am beyond disappointed. But this is just one of many issues.

They haosted a regional P5. Should have been nearly packed just for that. They actually have a good team, which should make it a sellout.
