Idaho State @ UNLV
UConn @ Utah State
Wyoming @ Illinois
Duquesne @ Florida State
Charlotte @ FAU
Florida A&M @ North Carolina
North Texas @ UTEP
Nevada @ NMSU
Vanderbilt @ Hawaii
Not a great slate of games. There should be more G5 and FCS non-conference games.

NCAA rules currently prohibit teams playing week zero games unless they are playing games in a foreign country, have a special kickoff classic game that was approved for that week, or are playing a game at Hawaii this year.
CUSA got a waiver to allow conference games week zero because they had some sort of scheduling hardship, not sure what that could be............
Otherwise, no one can play this week.

I’ll probably watch the FAM game to see how UNC Chapel Hill plays since we have them the following week. Also may watch some of the UNC Charlotte game to see if they are improving. UNC Chapel Hill’s sister school, UNC Pembroke, doesn’t play until the following week, unfortunately.

So why did UNC get a Week 0 game? Other than to prepare for App State?

They didn't want to start the season 0-2...very understandable.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it might've had something to do with all the controversy surrounding Marshall, ODU, and USM leaving the conference this year as opposed to staying one more year as the AAC 6 are. If I remember, C-USA had already made their schedule including Marshall, ODU, and USM, and then had to redo the whole thing.
Granted, the SBC had to make late adjustments as well, but maybe late adjustments are easier with an even number of teams than it is with an odd number (C-USA has 11 this year).

The Nebraska vs Northwestern and the UTEP vs UNT games both interest me enough that I will watch if I'm not doing anything else. I'm interested to see the score in the Charlotte vs FAU game.
But, for the most part, it's just blah.

Don't worry, everyone! I will handle it.
Actually, there was absolutely no controversy whatsoever surrounding Marshall, ODU, or USM. The C-USA scheduling issue was entirely a C-USA concoction. The SBC did not have scheduling issues because everyone was informed months prior to the schedules were due to be released that Marshall, ODU, and USM were playing in the SBC this year, and thus all 14 SBC schools were able to publish their schedules on time.
Glad you got your scheduling issues with C-USA all ironed out. Good luck this season!

Stadium on the web, Stadium on its app, Stadium on Twitter or Stadium on Facebook Live?
Seriously, you had to figure out stuff like that.

And that is why they suck. Leadership matters, and that conference has none.

Posturing, by releasing a schedule including all of us, we said would bite them in the butt. 2 conference teams will be behind the 8 ball before the season ever starts and 4 conference teams will have extra byes in there somewhere while everyone else is playing. That Judy, she's a smart one.
