I think you have to bid but there was someone recently (Duke?) that hosted but not at their school.

It was ODU, last year. We were the 1 seed in Columbia. It's sparked a new capital drive for stadium renovations that should have us with a suitable park to host by 2024. Last team before us to not host as a 1 seed was ECU in 2000.

Definitely host! Bring excitement to your campus any time that you can. Making it to a Super Regional is a big deal and it is sweeter when done in front of the home crowd. All of this adds to building/improving the program.

Oh nice, it was y'all. That gives perfect insight into the situation. I agree the money is worth it. TXST has wanted to upgrade baseball locker rooms for a long time and the moeny could help with that.
