I would not have said a word in this thread if the TITLE of the thread wasn't meant to be a slap at UAB.  Read the title and you tell me if that wasn't intended on getting a trash talking fest going.

It's all in good fun anyway.  Like most of us have said, we want a lot of teams in CUSA to do well.  We NEED them to do well so we can get more at-large bids, which will lead to more money for CUSA.  I'm worried about the dropoff in revenue from the NCAA tourney, especially with there being more teams to disperse it to.
I'll give you that one. But, you should know by now that fsquid is a *******.

As far as you wanting to see all C-USA teams do well- I doubt it. I think you would love nothing more than to see the Tigers go down in flames early on in the season, Cal to get run over by a bus and us to be put on probation.
c'mon now, no need for name calling. I was simply just pointing out that I couldn't find UAB in the rankings. :D

Then tell the national media to quit writing about us.

No!

Is Memphis State yours?

Go CUSA!

Looks an awful lot like the university is known as Alabama at Birmingham to me.

you want to use "at" that's fine. it's the "-" that we really don't like.

Isn't that just a little too picky.

not really, the dash makes us look like nothing more than a satellite campus- a mere extension if you will. However, we bring in 80% of the revenue for the school and are the largest employer in the state of AL minus the government. We are much more than an extension of that crap hole.

Memphis basketball has started to underachieve in the past couple of years. Memphis has a bad baseball team.
