Because there are like no SMU alums relatively speaking? By their own website, only 44,000 SMU Alums live in the North Texas/Metroplex area...so you'd need essentially every one of them to get tickets, and most of those guys are probably UT fans first.

That along with the fact that they really haven't been anything to write home about for the past 3 decades, and it makes sense to me.

With that being said, thank you dirty SMU defenders for softening up the Green Wave for another wonderful "style points" game next week.
