It's been real.

It's been fun.

It's been real fun.

Sorry ODU football never reached it's potential in CUSA 3.0. This group never seemed to form the rivalries that I hoped for in a conference. Hoping we move on to the new sun belt I guess. Will miss CLT! and his humor.

Question to all: what was CLT’s best line? His funniest comeback?

UAB and UTEP had some great battles on the court. Will miss that

I will greatly miss playing La Tech and your fans. Always amazed at what your program accomplishes with the current funding especially. You guys deserve to land in a good spot.

I'm not so sure about the quality of the AAC's Tennis Facilities.

Thanks Claude! Happy for UNT and all the schools joining the AAC. Best of luck the rest of the year. Still looking forward to the basketball season against you guys.

quadratic television...instead of linear television. He is an unappreciated national treasure.

Hey as you can see below the AAC may have left out the schools
that win the most.

(10 year average Sagarin rank in parentheses):

AAC: FAU (102), UAB (106), North Texas (108), Rice (111), UTSA (120), Charlotte (129)
SBC: Marshall (80), Southern Miss (97)
MAC: Western Kentucky (86), MTSU (98)

I feel for LaTech, UTEP & FIU. I hope they find a home I am not even sure WKU has a home. No confirmation yet

My deepest thanks to Judy, Delaney, Aresco, and of course ESPN

Tech, arguably, is the winningest across all the major sports.

Congrats to Charlotte, FAU, Rice, UAB, UNT, and UTSA, hopefully you all take advantage of the situation afforded to you. Let's make this last ride as a frankenstein conference the next 18 months special and get some extra NCAA credits and CFB playoff money for those of us less fortunate.

If that’s his greatest hit, we really should give fair warning to the AAC board.

I've met some really great people from UTEP. Wish you guys the best and I look forward to the rest of our match ups.

Have a feeling some of us will end up together once again down the road. I wish the best for everyone but probably UTEP the most. I love El Paso, I love the atmosphere of a packed Dan Haskins center, and I loved the great games we played on the court during the 2.0 days. Everyone will land on their feet somewhere.

Wow. This whole thing winds up being one really long and complicated 10-year rebrand of CUSA to the American.

If “somewhere” includes the kind of places that Idaho, New Mexico State, and UConn landed in for football, then yeah I agree with you.

Oh, yes.

Compare AAC 2.0 (beginning in 2023) to CUSA 2.0 (2005-2013):

Exactly the same:
East Carolina
Memphis
Rice
SMU
Tulane
Tulsa
UAB

Virtually the same:
South Florida instead of UCF
UTSA/North Texas instead of UTEP/Houston

Okay, that’s Different:
Temple, Charlotte, Florida Atlantic, and Navy/Wichita State combo instead of Southern Miss and Marshall

ESPNU Radio Full Ride just said WKU is the most competitive overall program in CUSA, especially with our basketball program factored in. At least someone is showing us the love, he says WKU has a lot to sell to another conference. That was Chris Childers that's a MTSU grad. Also, ESPNU just pointed out that the Sunbelt didn't add any team that left the Sunbelt.

It’s so amazing we left the Sun Belt because at the
Time we were bowl bound but no bowl to go to
Because at the time the SBC only had 2 bowl tie ins
CUSA had 6.
CUSA had a 1 million payout.
Any of the schools in the SBC at the time
Would have left to go to CUSA as well

I think it’s funny Tulsa Tulane left Rice and UAB
Behind but now they will be best buddies again
In the American. Every school does what’s best
For themselves. The 6 schools that just left CUSA
Didn’t hesitate. Nice job Judy. What did you pay
Delaney for to lock up the office after all the files
Are moved out to the Asun conference.
