I am all for some gold ole fashioned smack talk.
But, for God's sake, if you happen to beat one the big boys in the conference when you get here don't start saying 'We OWN this conference - we just got here and it is ours!" nonsense. None of the fans appreciate that kind of stuff - and you will get shot down pretty quick.
Instead of most of the belt cheering for CCU to beat App State to keep the strongest team going they may have preferred App State win just to get them down to Earth again. Not positive, but that is the feeling I was getting. Other non-CCU and non-App State fans will need to ring in on that. Heck, maybe they hate App State just as much and wanted us both to lose LOL.
Pride is good, confidence is good - arrogance and belittling the conference is not.
