Harassing or threatening politicians? Okay, depending on which party they belong to or what the rationale is for harassing them.

Harassing or threatening a local school board member? Federal investigation.

RE: UPDATE: Leftist Protesters Harass Sen. Sinema in Public Restroom

Group That Harassed Kyrsten Sinema Funded By Leftwing Billionaire George Soros

Quote:Leftwing billionaire George Soros funded the activist group that harassed Democrat Sen. Kyrsten Sinema in a bathroom last weekend, The Free Beacon reported on Monday.

According to Soros’s Open Society Foundation grant database, Soros gave at least $1.5 million to Living United for Change in Arizona in 2019 and at least $250,000 in 2017 to become the group’s largest donor.

A group of demonstrators with Living United for Change followed Sinema into a bathroom at Arizona State University this weekend and filmed their repeated demands that she vote for President Joe Biden’s expensive “Build Back Better” plan and legislation that will give millions of illegal aliens U.S. citizenship.

Sinema later said that the pushy activists “deceptively enter[ed] a locked, secure building” before they posted a video harassing her and students using the restroom, behavior Sinema called “inappropriate.”

“Yesterday’s behavior was not a legitimate protest. It is unacceptable for activist organizations to instruct their members to jeopardize themselves by engaging in unlawful activities such as gaining entry to closed university buildings, disrupting learning environments, and filming students in a restroom,” Sinema said in a statement on Monday.

Living United, which devotes time and effort to promoting leftwing candidates, also notably received thousands of dollars in funding from Bold PAC, “the fundraising arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus,” in August.

“The committee includes more than three dozen of Sinema’s Democratic colleagues in the Senate and House. Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto (Nev.), Alex Padilla (Calif.), and Robert Menendez (N.J.) are listed as members of the committee on the Bold PAC website. The senators did not respond to requests for comment about Living United’s confrontation of their Democratic colleague,” the Free Beacon reported.

Living United also took money from one of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s political charities focused on immigration and from the National Education Association, the nation’s largest teachers’ union.

Major 'feminist' website calls for harassment of Kyrsten Sinema: 'Absolutely bully' her

Quote:High-profile "feminist" website Jezebel has called for the targeted harassment of Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ). The senator was followed into the bathroom by a group of immigration activists who had accosted the Democrat lawmaker in her classroom while she was teaching at Arizona State University over the weekend.

In the Jezebel piece, titled "Absolutely Bully Kyrsten Sinema Outside Of Her Bathroom Stall," the op-ed argues that the senator is "holding all of us back" and some of Sinema's most vulnerable constituents are "rightfully" sick of it.

Jezebel staff writer Ashley Reese criticizes the "pearl-clutching" response surrounding the ASU incident and questions the "effectiveness of certain kinds of protest" that she contends will "always be up for debate."

Reese's language mirrors the writings of "How To Blow Up A Pipeline" author Andreas Malm, who has advocated for the climate change movement to "escalate its tactics," embrace violence, and "move away from an exclusive focus on polite, gentle, and perfectly peaceful civil disobedience."

The Jezebel writer says that few are "providing a more effective and safe alternative" to how the activists at ASU acted.

"They told Sinema, to her face—and through a door—that she was failing them and why." Noting there was no violence or rude language, Reese contends that the confrontation was "Just a few constituents following their representative into a large bathroom to air their grievances."

She questions, "What should they have done instead? Call her office and direct their ire through a receptionist like surely countless Americans do each day? Write her a letter she won't read? Vote her into office again and hope that, this time, she'll deign them important enough to listen to?"

Sinema, whom Reese calls "a political menace," told the persisting activists that she had to leave, but the group pursued the Arizona lawmaker into the women's bathroom. Sinema did not respond to the activists, choosing to lock herself behind a restroom stall. Sounds of toilets flushing were audible in the footage.

Social justice organization Living United for Change in Arizona uploaded the video Sunday of the immigration activists demanding that Sinema defend her opposition to the Biden administration's $3.5 trillion Build Back Better infrastructure bill.

Sinema joined many moderates who criticized the Democratic leadership's decision to pull the bill from the floor Friday to gain additional time for negotiations. Sinema has voiced concern over the Senate budget agenda and its staggering price tag.

"It's no wonder her constituents—who don't understand what the f**k she's doing any better than the rest of us—are piping mad," Reese defends the harassing protesters. "Mad enough to pester her after she finished teaching a class at ASU."

President Joe Biden's plan provides a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants. One of the activists, who identified herself as Blanca, told the senator that she was brought to the United States when she was three-years-old. Blanca's grandparents were deported in 2010 due to Arizona's controversial SB1070 law, one of the strictest anti-immigration laws in the country.

"We need to hold you accountable to what you told us, what you promised us that you were going to pass when we knocked on doors for you. It's not right," Blanca told the Arizona legislator in the campus restroom.

Reese lambasts a Fox News headline that reported that Sinema was "stalked" following months of "liberal media pressure" and slams reactions from Human Events senior editor Jack Posobiec, NBC's senior Capitol Hill correspondent Garret Haake, and The Nation's justice correspondent Elie Mystal.

"Given these reactions, one would think that an angry activist kicked open the bathroom door while Sinema was taking a massive dump," Reese writes.

Reese sides with the left-wing instigators who berated the senator in the bathroom stall and denounces Simena's alleged cowardice. She downplays the tension-filled event as a handful of activists who "just sort of stood around" in a public space, "politely but firmly demanding that Sinema to do the job they elected her to do."
"But maybe it's easier to act like a public bathroom is a sacred place than criticize the fact that Sinema decided to hide from her voters like a coward," Reese concludes in the Jezebel essay.

Sinema spoke out on Monday, calling the behavior "not legitimate protest" and alleging that the safe educational environment was "breached" by the conduct.
Neither Biden nor his press secretary had much sympathy for Sinema. "I don't think they're appropriate tactics but it happens to everybody," Biden said at a White House press conference on Monday. "The only people it doesn't happen to are people who have Secret Service standing around with them. So, it's part of the process."

When pressed about Sinema's badgering, White House press secretary Jen Psaki broke from Biden's take, labeling the incident "inappropriate" and "unacceptable."

On social media, a Twitter user questioned Reese on the matter of privacy: "So, it is perfectly fine to record someone else in the bathroom without their consent?"

"If they're an ordinary citizen, no. If you open their stall, absolutely not. If they’re an elected official evading basic questions behind a closed door in a large women's bathroom at a public university then yeah I think it's probably fine to record an activist talking to a door," Reese responded on Twitter hours after publication.

"I, for one, am shocked a magazine named after history's most famous pagan witch would betray one of their own women like this," Posobiec commented. "Shocked."

"Jot this down for the next time AOC claims she feared for her life because a Republican gave her a mean look," tweeted "Relatable" host Allie Beth Stuckey.

Reese reacted to the argument by claiming that if constituents followed the New York representative into a public restroom to chide her for stalling important legislation, she would consider the harassment "absolutely fair."

"How dare people follow an elected official they voted for into a large bathroom with multiple stalls and talk about their deported grandma?" Reese tweeted.

New York progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has said she feared GOP lawmakers in Congress would've led Capitol rioters to her on Jan. 6.

Ocasio-Cortez falsely accused Texas Sen. Ted Cruz of "trying to get [her] killed," vowing that she wouldn't attend President Joe Biden's inauguration because she didn't "feel safe" around Republican legislators. The representative further demanded the removal of Republicans in the House and Senate.

"I can tell you that I had a very close encounter where I thought I was going to die," the "Squad" member said in an hour-long Instagram Live video. "I did not know if I was going to make it to the end of that day alive."

The congresswoman has acted like she was on the front line, facing down Trump supporting rioters in the halls outside her congressional office.

But it turned out that Ocasio-Cortez wasn't in the Capitol at the time of the federal breach. She was in another building separate from the chaotic Jan. 6 scene.

Ocasio-Cortez still asserted she's effectively "served in war" and has diclosed she's been attending therapy after "surviving" the Capitol riot.

And I know you know this...there has only been one hint of harassment at any school board that I know of

Being a vocal objector in a school board meeting is not harassment and never will be. The left and their word game mushmouth BS is ludicrous and any normal... yes normal person knows this.

RE: UPDATE: Leftist Protesters Harass Sen. Sinema in Public Restroom
Dan Crenshaw Raises Key Questions to Twitter’s Jack Dorsey After Online Threats Against Sen. Sinema

Quote:A crap-ton has been written over the last several days concerning the disturbing incident from this past weekend involving radical left-wing “migrant youths” who followed Arizona Democratic Sen. Kyrsten Sinema into a women’s restroom and filmed and badgered her as she sat behind a closed-door stall to use the facilities.

While the bulk of the debate has centered around the left’s/media’s rank hypocrisy when it comes to where to draw the line between appropriate forms of protest versus the stalking/harassment of public officials, one issue that hasn’t gotten as much attention is where Twitter stands on the bullying and harassment that has come from other Twitter users as well as left-wing media outlets that are openly encouraging people to bully Sinema everywhere, including in the restroom and on airplanes.

As we reported yesterday, so-called “feminists” have led the way in the online bullying campaigns, chief among them being Jezebel.com, which proudly published a piece originally headlined “Absolutely Bully Kyrsten Sinema Outside Of Her Bathroom Stall.” It has since been slightly changed to read, “Absolutely Confront Kyrsten Sinema Outside Of Her Bathroom Stall.”

In it, staff writer Ashley Reese mocked people who thought it was crossing a serious line to follow a woman into the women’s restroom and film her:

Given these reactions, one would think that an angry activist kicked open the bathroom door while Sinema was taking a massive dump. Instead, they just sort of stood around in a public space, politely but firmly demanding that Sinema to do the job they elected her to do. Even President Biden was seemingly unimpressed by all the whining, telling reporters during a Monday press conference that “It happens to everybody… it’s part of the process.”

He’s right. And for all the pearl-clutching, few are providing a more effective and safe alternative to what these activists did. They told Sinema, to her face—and through a door—that she was failing them and why. There was no violence, no rude language, nothing. Just a few constituents following their representative into a large bathroom to air their grievances.

[…]

But maybe it’s easier to act like a public bathroom is a sacred place than criticize the fact that Sinema decided to hide from her voters like a coward.

In response to the Jezebel article, Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) raised important questions to the Twitter Powers That Be, wondering if they were going to apply their rules against urging online and offline harassment to Jezebel for encouraging the very type of disgusting behavior we saw take place at ASU – or if they were going to let it slide because Sinema “isn’t liberal enough” in their eyes:

They were rhetorical questions, of course, because as we all know – some through very frustrating and infuriating personal experiences – Twitter’s rules when it comes to bullying and harassment are highly selective, and tend to only swing one way (against conservatives, naturally).

On a related note, I don’t think I need to speculate on what the reactions of wokesters like Ms. Reese would be if right-wing activists including at least one who was a man followed her into the women’s restroom and began filming, because I think that should be pretty obvious – especially considering the fact that the rules leftists impose on others rarely if ever apply to them and the situations in which they find themselves.

Exhibit A:

I rest my case.

RE: UPDATE: Leftist Protesters Harass Sen. Sinema in Public Restroom
Bernie Sanders Buries the Knife Into Kyrsten Sinema

Quote:Just when you think Bernie Sanders can’t sink any lower, he manages to figure out how to do so. The socialist from Vermont has been openly engaging in a civil war with members of his own Democrat caucus, most notably Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin. The barbs have been sharp, with Sanders showing public frustration that the moderate senators won’t support the $3.5 trillion reconciliation ploy to turn America into a quasi-communist utopia.

As if to prove that socialists are terrible at math, Sanders keeps repeating the contention that “two senators” don’t have a right to stop the agenda of “48 senators.” Yet, there are actually 52 senators in opposition, and last I checked, 52 adds up to more than 48. The message from Sanders is clear, though. He expects Democrats to vote in lockstep for the “build back better” boondoggle with no concern for what each state’s constituents actually want.

Sanders isn’t stopping either. The latest is that he plunged the knife into the Arizona senator’s back, refusing to sign a letter of condemnation for the harassment Sinema received while at Arizona State University. That now has the entire statement in limbo.

You almost have to respect the hustle Sanders shows. He stays on message and he doesn’t care one bit what anyone thinks. If that means defending illegal immigrants who followed one of his colleagues into a bathroom to film and yell at her, then so be it. Still, it’s pretty gross for him to shut down a letter in support of Sinema for purely political reasons. Such a statement is not the place to rant about disagreements over reconciliation. Sanders is essentially saying he won’t condemn the behavior if Democrats don’t agree that Sinema’s political skirt was too short.

As I’ve said before, this is idiotic tactically. How is knifing Sinema in the back going to get her on board with the Sanders’ priorities? If anything, he is pushing her further away by being so public in his feud. And while politicians tend to remain practical in the face of opposition, Sinema has to have a breaking point, right? If I were her, I’d send a note to Schumer saying I’m done with reconciliation this year. That would actually represent some pushback on the kind of behavior Sanders is engaging in. That won’t happen, but man would it be entertaining to witness.

Sinema Is Accosted Again, After Dems Fail to Decry Harassment

Quote:Democrats are political animals.

They don’t give a darn who they run over in their quest for power, even if that includes one of their own.

You would have thought that Democrats would have come out strongly in condemning Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) being harassed. While Joe Biden superficially said he didn’t think the tactics were appropriate, he normalized it saying it was “part of the process” and “happens to everybody.” Of course, the activists were acting on behalf of his bill, as well.

Democrats were very quiet when it came to any criticism of Sinema’s harassment.

On top of that, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) refused to sign aboard a statement condemning the harassment — unless it also included remarks criticizing Sinema for her political stance. So, it’s not clear if the statement is actually going to be published, according to Axios. That’s how twisted Democrats are at this point; they can’t even make a basic statement that it’s obviously wrong to chase someone into a bathroom and film them there.

So what does that mean? It means that without any conscience or condemnation of this kind of harassing behavior, the behavior will continue.

After the bathroom incident, they harassed her in the airport, with one of them even buying a ticket and bothering her on the plane.

Now today, leftists were at it again. Radical left activist group Codepink posted a video — likely of one of their people — accosting Sinema on the street and then following her to her car, badgering her about Biden’s Build Back Better plan.

From Fox News:

“Who are you gonna leave out for the Build Back Better Biden agenda?” the person asked in a video posted to Twitter. “Can you talk with us, please, today? Congresswoman?” the person asked, mistaking Sinema’s title.

After the woman was corrected that Sinema was actually a senator, she continued, “Senator Sinema, would you please tell the majority of Americans who support Build Back Better why you won’t vote for it? Who are you going to leave behind? Seniors who need health care? Folks who need housing? The climate crisis? Who are you going to leave behind, senator?”

Now, at least that’s on a public street and not in a bathroom. It wasn’t clear if Sinema had security, or if the one person with her was perhaps a staffer. But there’s a continuing pattern of harassment that these leftists feel empowered to engage in — because of the basic lack of condemnation by the liberal elites at large.

As to Codepink’s greater point in their tweet about the military, the Constitution empowers the federal government to provide for the common defense of the country. It doesn’t empower the government to provide for “the common social spending.” But 65% of the Biden budget is already being spent on social spending. Far less is spent on the military.

This is really so wrong that Democrats don’t speak out. So far, the people who have spoken out forcefully against this kind of harassment are Republicans. One would have to think that if Democrats keep throwing Sinema under the bus, that she might go full maverick, throw them under the bus, and become an independent or Republican. Then Democrats will have fully earned that result with their shameful behavior on all this.

Biden Complains Kyrsten Sinema Is Ignoring His Phone Calls

Quote:President Joe Biden complained to Democratic lawmakers that Sens. Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin “don’t move” on their demands for a smaller reconciliation bill despite spending hours with him to negotiate it, sources told CNN.

Biden alleged that Sinema has been so set in her demands to cut the $3.5 trillion spending plan that she does not always return phone calls from the White House. According to the lawmakers, Biden sounded “exasperated” at Manchin and Sinema, the two Democratic holdouts on the reconciliation bill in the Senate.

Biden’s behind-closed-doors complaints about Manchin and Sinema show that the two moderate senators are standing their ground and are not dissuaded by progressives’ anger at their refusal to go along with Biden’s plan, which contains everything from funding to combat climate change to child tax credits.

Activists in Arizona have launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for a potential primary opponent if Sinema refuses to go along with the bill, and earlier this week, she was harassed in a public bathroom by protesters demanding she vote for it.

Democratic lawmakers are getting frustrated with their two moderate colleagues. Sen. Bernie Sanders refused to sign a statement denouncing the bathroom incident because it did not call on Sinema to support the $3.5 trillion bill, the New York Times reported.

On Wednesday, Sanders alleged that Sinema will not tell fellow senators what exactly she will support in the bill. He also went after Manchin for his comments that he does not want to create an “entitlement” society. Sanders said: “Does Sen. Manchin really believe that seniors are not entitled to digest their food, and that they’re not entitled to hear and see properly?”

“Two people,” Sanders said, “do not have the right to sabotage what 48 want, what the president of the United States wants.”

According to CNN’s sources, California Rep. Ro Khanna told Biden in the private meeting that Manchin and Sanders should sit in the same room and try to reach a deal on the reconciliation bill.

Biden reportedly said that getting the two together in the same room would be like “homicide” and then joked about getting into the boxing ring with Khanna.

Kyrsten Sinema Sets the 'Build Back Better' Agenda on Fire and Infuriates the Left

Quote:Sen. Kyrsten Sinema may be ignoring phone calls from the White House, but she’s also blowing things up on Capitol Hill, as well.

It’s well known that the Arizona senator does not support the $3.5 trillion “build back better” reconciliation bill, but where she and Joe Manchin, who is also holding the line from the moderate side, supposedly differed was on climate policy. Sinema was assumed to be more concerned about tax rates, while Manchin was against anything that would hurt the coal industry in his state of West Virginia.

But now, Sinema is making a move that hits right at the heart of the “green” agenda pushed by Biden, Bernie Sanders, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, among many others on the left.

This, per The New York Times.

Senator Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, who began her political career with the Green Party and who has voiced alarm over the warming planet, wants to cut at least $100 billion from climate programs in major legislation pending on Capitol Hill, according to two people familiar with the matter.

Sinema is one of two centrist Democrats in the Senate whose votes are crucial to passing two bills that together would comprise President Biden’s legislative agenda: a $1 trillion infrastructure bill and a separate $3.5 trillion budget bill.

This represents the heaviest barrage yet in the Democrat civil war over reconciliation. Sanders talks a big game and Biden doesn’t know what day it is, but Sinema is out here blowing up the biggest priority for her party without a second thought. I’m pretty sure that makes her the most based politician in Washington right now.

Maybe Sinema’s Democrat colleagues, including Sanders and Biden, not coming out to forcefully defend her from being accosted by illegal immigrants in a bathroom wasn’t the smartest tactical move? But arrogance is a funny thing, and there’s no shortage of it among far-left political figures. That arrogance appears to have pushed Sinema further away.

But past the politics at play, what Sinema is doing here is also simply the right thing to do. The last thing this nation needs to use yet more finite taxpayer money on “green” energy boondoggles and carbon punishment schemes that stunt economic growth while making no real difference. We’ve got enough issues to worry about, and no amount of “action” in Washington regarding the United States is going to change the climate.

And even if you believe that man-made global warming is a major issue, practicalities and realities still matter. The US could cut its emissions to zero and still not make much of a dent. That’s not according to me. That’s per climate hysteric John Kerry.

If the social media response is any indication, Sinema’s move is infuriating the left. Again, climate change is a religious institution for these people. They truly believe they are the saviors of the world and just need your money to deliver redemption. You can expect some very hot takes on the Sunday shows tomorrow.

Posobiec said the Sinema shade was about to get thrown yesterday.

RE: UPDATE: Leftist Protesters Harass Sen. Sinema in Public Restroom
Both Sinema and Manchin should move to Independent and claim to be TRULY independent, not aligning with either side. That throws the Senate to 50 R, 48 D, and 2 I. Note that there are actually 4 I but the other two caucus with the D's.

Tell Turtle to stay seated and nominate Scott of FL or Thune of ND to be the Senate Majority lead. I'd prefer Manchin but the Independents are not the "majority" party. I'm unsure if the Senate guidelines allow an Independent to be nominated by either a D or R majority??

My main objective is to push that Turtle-faced McConnell OUT of the power position.

Will never happen, imho. The only way to get them out of the D. Senate caucus is to kick them out. Which won’t happen until after the 2022 midterms, at the earliest.

Left-wing activists to protest Kyrsten Sinema as she runs the Boston Marathon

Quote:Left-wing activists have announced their plans to protest Senator Kyrsten Sinema while she runs the Boston Marathon. Activists recently confronted Sinema in a public bathroom at Arizona State University, demanding that she vote for Biden's Build Back Better spending plan in the US Senate. She was also confronted on an airplane.

Those activists that will be essentially bird-dogging Sinema during Monday's marathon intend to hold up signs reading "Senator Sinema: Pass the Full Deal," "Senator Sinema: Stop Running. Start Listening," and "Senator Sinema: Stop Running From Us," according to the Boston Globe.

The Green New Deal Network is the group backing the activists, and they are comprised of 15 national organizations. They released a statement to publicize their plan.

Sinema, along with her Democrat colleague Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia, have been opposed to the high, $3.5 trillion price tag associated with the bill. The Democrats in the Senate need their votes in order to push the bill through.

The Arizona senator released a statement after she was harassed in the bathroom at ASU, saying that the confrontation, which was filmed by the activists, "was not a legitimate protest."

Sinema said that "It is unacceptable for activist organizations to instruct their members to jeopardize themselves by engaging in unlawful activities..." She went on to say that the environment of safety and intellectual challenges that she's worked hard to create during her 19 years teaching at ASU "was breached" by the protestors.

For others, such as feminist magazine Jezebel, the harassment was perfectly fine. In an article called "Absolutely Bully Kyrsten Sinema Outside Of Her Bathroom Stall," author Ashley Reese claimed that "They told Sinema, to her face—and through a door—that she was failing them and why."

Reese said the protestors were "Just a few constituents following their representative into a large bathroom to air their grievances," and mocked the idea that they should have contacted her through official channels, such as reaching out to her office or staff.

Of the tactics used to harass Sinema, President Joe Biden said "I don't think they're appropriate tactics but it happens to everybody. The only people it doesn't happen to are people who have Secret Service standing around with them. So, it's part of the process."

The Boston Marathon will be run on Monday for the first time in two years after being cancelled during the pandemic last fall. Sinema ran the marathon in 2014 to honor victims of a twin bombing at the 2013 marathon, and to raise money for charities founded in the names of those victims.

Leftist Activist Gets Much Too Close to Kyrsten Sinema

Quote:You would think that the left would learn their lesson that harassing Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) isn’t going to work.

Leftists got to Sen. Jeff Flake (RINO-AZ) during their efforts against the nomination of Justice Brett Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court. So they think it’s now going to work on other people as well.

However, Sinema is made of much sterner stuff than Flake, who folded like a cheap suit. The more you push her, the more she’s likely to dig in her trendy heels and hold the leftists off. They’re just making her more resistant as they keep on at her.

But if you listen to some of the leftists on social media now, it’s about trying to make her life unpleasant for not going along with them – about not giving her a moment’s peace because she’s stood against them. That’s how vile this has gotten with some of them.

A video has emerged of another activist trying to harass Sinema at the airport over Joe Biden’s Build Better Better bill.

The woman gets so close at one point Sinema is prompted to say, “Don’t touch me!” The woman then claims that she didn’t touch her. It’s hard to tell because of the camera angle.

Fortunately, Sinema now appears to have two security men or law enforcement also tightly walking with her. While they don’t ward off the woman, they’re tightly enough with Sinema to do something if they had to. I’d previously expressed concern that she didn’t seem to have sufficient security so I’m glad to see it.

The woman keeps walking with Sinema, although seeming to back off slightly after Sinema told her off. She continues to harangue her about climate change. “Every single year in Arizona, it’s getting hotter and hotter,” the woman said. “We’re breaking records … People are suffering. Your constituents are suffering. What are you going to do about climate change?” she asked. She also accuses Sinema of meeting with lobbyists.

Sinema ignores her and keeps walking, even apologizing to one of her security people for the interruption from the woman.

This is the second time activists have tried to ambush Sinema at the airport and they have harassed her in several locations over the month. Arizona State University Police have also recommended charges against activists who harassed her on the campus there outside her classroom while she was teaching and then followed her into the bathroom, continuing to film while she was in there.

While House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has claimed they’re getting closer and Joe Biden invited Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) to his home in Delaware, it doesn’t appear that either Manchin or Sinema are caving on their points. Indeed, Biden has had to cave a lot on his numbers, coming down from $3.5 trillion to now reports of $1.75 trillion. But Manchin is holding to his $1.5 trillion number as well as his other objections and has said that he’s willing to walk away and not pass anything in regard to Biden’s social spending bill. We’ll have to see what the week brings.
