As we wrote on Saturday, progressive activists aren’t having it with Democrat senators like West Virginia’s Joe Manchin and Arizona’s Kyrsten Sinema refusing to go along to get along on their massive spending addiction, currently in the form of Joe Biden’s reconciliation bill, with a price tag of $3.5 trillion (or potentially more).
What that’s led to recently is blatant, in your face bullying against both senators by the left’s minions. Literally, in Manchin’s case, where he lives.
Late last week, Sen. Manchin was harassed by loud protesters who thought it was acceptable to use kayaks to reach him at his private home in D.C. — which happens to be a houseboat. As you can see in the video (linked above), Manchin was very polite to the alleged WV constituents, asking them to set up an appointment to meet and speak with him about the outrageous spending bill and the bipartisan bill that’s been held hostage by far-leftists in the Democrat Party.
Now, on the heels of her slapdown of Democratic leaders on Saturday, as my colleague Nick Arama reported, Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema is getting harassed at home (figuratively), too.
Fox News reported that far-left activists showed up at a fundraising event she attended in Central Phoenix Saturday night.
Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., sidestepped stalled infrastructure talks in Washington, D.C., to see her foot doctor and host a high-priced fundraiser at a pricey Phoenix resort Saturday.

“We’re here to find our senator,” Ruth Shea, a protester, told a station photographer. “Sen. Sinema is a clown of Arizona who’s in the Royal Palms, meeting with fundraiser people, when she’s supposed to be back in D.C., voting on bills, to make America better.”
A small group gathered in front of the Royal Palms Resort in central Phoenix. They want the senator to support President Joe Biden’s big spending bill.
And it’s these or similar radical leftists who have no problem following a woman into a public restroom (presumably on the ASU campus) and shouting at her. Watch:

Anyway, you have to ask: Why would activists think this is okay? Maybe because Democrats who represent them (like this Arizona state senator) are gung-ho about the tactic:

Sinema Responds After Left-Wing Protesters Follow, Record Her Inside Arizona Bathroom
Quote:Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) on Monday issued a lengthy statement condemning the actions of left-wing protesters who followed the senator inside a women’s bathroom and recorded her while making demands.
“Several individuals disrupted my class in Arizona State University,” Sinema said, adding that “these individuals filmed and publicly posted videos of my students without their permission—including footage taken of both my students and I using the restroom.”
While Sinema said that she respects the right to demonstrate, the activist group’s behavior on Sunday in Phoenix “was not legitimate protest,” adding: “It is unacceptable for activist organizations to instruct their members to jeopardize themselves by engaging in unlawful activities such as gaining entry to closed university buildings, disrupting learning environments, and filming students in the restroom.”
Under Arizona state law, it’s illegal to film people while they’re in the bathroom. The Epoch Times has contacted Sinema’s office about whether the senator will press charges.
Sgt. Vincent Cole, a spokesman for the Phoenix Police Department, indicated that the agency would not be pursuing charges.
“Arizona State University has their own Police Department and are the investigating agency for this incident,” he told The Epoch Times via email.
Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich’s office, Arizona State University, and Living United for Change in Arizona (LUCHA) did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
According to video footage posted online, apparent immigration activists followed Sinema into a bathroom at Arizona State University and called on her to pass the mammoth $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation bill that has been locked in negotiations.
The group, LUCHA, confronted Sinema and asserted “we need a ‘build back better’ plan right now,” referring to the campaign slogan from President Joe Biden.
“We knocked on doors for you,” the unnamed person filming told Sinema while she was in a bathroom stall. Sinema ignored the people and she washed her hands before walking inside the classroom as activists chanted: “Build back better, back the bill!” The individual who was filming, who called herself Blanca, also told the freshman Arizona senator that “we need this pathway to citizenship.”
“We wouldn’t have to resort to confronting” Sinema, wrote LUCHA in a Twitter post, “if she took meetings with the communities that elected her.”
According to the group’s website, Living United for Change in Arizona is “a membership-led, grassroots organization that builds power with Arizona’s working families to advance social, racial and economic justice for all.”
Top Democrat members of Congress including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), haven’t issued any public statements on the incident, although several current and former Republican officials condemned the activists.
Former Trump administration adviser Stephen Miller wrote on Twitter that “an illegal alien is stalking a US Senator to demand passage of Biden’s reconciliation bill b/c it includes mass amnesty for illegals. In a functioning democracy, ICE would swiftly deport this person, but under Biden’s new edict (as the lawbreaker knows) she’s immune from removal.”
After a White House speech on Monday, President Joe Biden responded to a question about the harassment incident, saying that it’s “part of the process” for anyone who “doesn’t have secret service protection.”
The incident comes amid stalled negotiations on both the reconciliation bill and a $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that was passed along bipartisan lines in the Senate. The chair of the House Progressive Caucus, Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), told CNN on Sunday that House progressives will not pass a reconciliation bill worth less than $1.5 trillion, and her caucus has said the infrastructure bill cannot be passed unless the reconciliation measure clears the Senate.
Another moderate Democrat, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), has also faced left-wing pressure over the budget reconciliation bill. A group of kayakers was seen approaching Manchin’s houseboat in Washington D.C. before yelling a the senator.
“We just passed a Pentagon budget of $788 billion,” one activist yelled. “And that over 10 years is $6 trillion.”
“How much do you think that we spend on non-discretionary, basically non-defense? Just as much,” Manchin said in response.

If these trashy leftist losers would put as much effort into working as they do protesting, harassing, and complaining, they wouldnt need the gubmint to hand them everything they want and need in life.
