Charlotte is out of the gate with a program to facilitate NIL endorsements for our student-athletes before North Carolina even passes a law. I predict NIL will be a mess, setting expectations for 99% of the student athletes they will never realize. Still, I don't think any of us have any option but to support it. Does your school have a program yet?

Yep, hot female athletes may make more off this than Heisman finalists,

How many student athletes are going to be so wrapped up in this that they "go live" during practice or in the sidelines at a game? These kids are so wrapped up in "me, me, me, look at me!" It will become a huge distraction for the athletes that are serious about their sport. I hope they instill guidelines from the get go.

Well, you can't get paid for an appearance wearing your school uniform without the school getting a piece too, so I imagine that'll affect live from sporting events things as well.

No doubt that's where we're headed. Some of America's football athletes and men's BB players my end up very disappointed.
