It is inexplicable how ECU can get $7 million from the AAC, finish near the bottom of the conference in everything but baseball, and still manage to lose between $5-12 million per year.

RE: Merger/Alliance
Back to the original point of this thread (merger and scheduling of top G5 teams) I would be for it, however many of us already have our OOC schedules set for the next decade.

The only thing we can do is perform better OOC.

One last thing and then I won't bother anymore. We all absolutely understand WHY the AAC promotes the way it does. However, you don't have to bury the rest of us while promoting your brand.

Remember, everything is cyclical. If/when CUSA gets it together, and we hire an appropriate commissioner who promotes our brand, and our teams begin taking care of businesses it won't matter what the AAC teams do. We will have our day.

Which brings up another point. Its unfathomable how Judy still has her job. I just dont understand how someone can do so poorly and not be shown the door.

Ask the CUSA Board of Directors. I'm sure they all have emails.

That's assuming they are smart enough to know how to use email.

Have you emailed your President and asked him that question? Until every school's fanbase drowns their individual Presidents in emails demanding action (including hire a Commissioner that will push us forward) nothing will change. Each President has plenty of work to do at their universities, so they don't want the bother of a Commissioner search. Enough of them think she's doing an adequate job that it isn't worth the bother. Blow them up about it and it will be worth the bother.

No they don’t, and I’m gonna drop the hammer on you if you persist with your crap.

Actually the NCAA does recognize UCF's National Championship in 2017. It's on page 115 shown below. Schools claim championships with much less to stand on than UCF's undefeated season and NCAA recognition. As for all the other back and forth smack talking I have no comment as the details of the expanded playoff isn't even out yet. Cheers 04-cheers

That's actually "Final National Poll Leaders". It's a listing of what school every National Poll had at #1 after the season. Given UCF was undefeated and wasn't allowed to compete, and they beat a team that beat a team playing in the NC game, I'm fine with their claiming the NC.

fans emailing the school president does nothing. boosters who donate six+ figures calling is what makes a difference.

"Adequate" doesn't cut it. CUSA needs a new leader with fresh ideas and a new vision. There's nothing wrong with that.

CUSA typically does well in it's bowl games, but we never beat the big schools at the front of the schedule, and we have no consistent top 25 representation like the AAC and MWC. It's simply not a competitive conference.

I 100% agree and that's why I used that word. They think it's good enough or she'd be looking for a new job.
