RE: Off-season thought: A train to Tulane

I can't stay through Sunday, however, but could go down Friday and stay the night, and then come back after the game on Saturday night--but that all depends on whether it is a day game.
Looking at their 2018 & 2019 seasons, they appear to prefer 7pm starts for non-tv games. A pickup by television would off course dictate start time and it is way to early for most of that to be decided.

Which may delay the arrival to New Orleans
Bates could elaborate because I think it happened to them several times on the way down on that particular trip. That had something to do with the club car running out of beverages. I've heard the story from some of the GreenHouse folks.
I do remember stopping at length a few times, especially when you start coming into NOLA. Plus that’s the end of the line, so they made some long turning route then backed into the station. It was an hour ride at least AFTER you cross Pontchartrain.
