Nearly all the playoff scenarios I have seen don't really favor Memphis. They are going to want Portland, New Orleans and San Antonio in there.

We'll be playing, one way or the other. And that's ok.

The NBA teams owe their local broadcast partners games , they may play a few games before the playoffs to fulfill that part of their contracts so they don't have to give money back on the TV contracts

I suppose that their reasoning is this:
-Wizards are 5.5 games back with only 24 wins
-Portland is 3.5 back with 29 wins so 5 games up in the win column
-New Orleans and Sacramento are 3.5 back with 28 wins
-San Antonio has 27 wins and is 4 back
-They really want Zion in the playoffs but they can't just add New Orleans. They have to take the 4 teams.

Too much confusion. They just need to stop the season as of the last game that was played & proceed with a regular playoff schedule. Treat it like the NBA lock out

I agree, but because there will be no homecourt advantage the post season the best 16 teams overall, regardless of conference should go.

Memphis should be safely in, likely New Orleans and Portland in that scenario.

Maybe 10 from the West and 6 from the East.

Re seed all 16 teams based upon record alone.

1 vs 16
2 vs 15
3 vs 14
4 vs 13
5 vs 12

Etc etc like the NCAA tournament but in a playoff format.

They are determined to get Zion in there.

When we signed Kyle Anderson the Grizz were custom made for his kind of game. Not anymore. If we could move Slo-Mo and plug in a young, athletic rook in his spot, our ceiling could move even higher.
