The Big Dance will be canceled soon. If somehow it goes on there is no way that the Bearcats and Houston can be cheated out of a spot.

I'm cool with that, assuming the tournament happens at all. If the tournament is delayed, maybe they can play the first few rounds at the higher seed's arenas. It would obviously be a huge disadvantage for the visiting team, but it's a lot better than not having the tournament at all.

Tournament is not going to happen.

If they eventually play a tournament you'd have to think so.

I do think though that for a tournament to take place it would have to be in the next month. These guys are college students and in the next month many will graduate and move on with their lives.

I doubt the NCAA tournament is played but if it does get played then UC would be the likely autobid or a least we can claim an pretend the streak is alive.

Either way, senior night was a great way to go out if that was the last game.

Hah, it's funny, there were 3 games this year where I felt like the season was over (all Q3 losses after Bowling Green). And in the end, it was this damn virus that burst the bubble for everyone.

If the tournament happens. my guess is they take a 2 week hiatus and rethink how it will be done. The smart move would be to just consolidate all the games to the same venue, and reduce traveling. Postponing a few weeks also allows them to further monitor how fast this thing escalates. It doesn't make alot of sense to play all these games all over the country in empty arenas anyways.

Yeah, the odds that the NCAA tournament actually happens are approaching 0%. Also, a tournament with no fans in attendance seems very lame and bad for TV ratings. The arena atmosphere is half the excitement of watching a college basketball game.

As of today we likely would've been in as an at-large anyways. I say count it.

I feel bad for the seniors who get cheated out of the opportunity of a conference tournament championship or to participate in the NCAA one last time.
