We are #1 so we have to get the bid and UH is at large.

I doubt the NCAA Tournament continues but I think this has to keep our streak alive as we should get the auto bid as the number 1 seed. Even if it’s not played, I guess our streak will continue either way.
Feel bad for players like Tre Scott snd Jarron who wont get one more shot at the Tournament as a Senior. Especially with some of the tough breaks they have had in the Tournament. I realize our odds weren’t great to go deep, but still hate the opportunity is taken away from them.

Could you imagine getting a phone call/text/tweet saying "Oh, by the way, your college career is over as of this minute" in the midst of practicing and getting all psyched up to play?

Does Brannen get the bonus for winning the Conference Tourney?
Does he get the NCAA Bonus?

Agreed.
Obviously, everything is changing moment to moment but I've yet to see any decision on the NCAA Tournament. If cancelled, tickets will have to be refunded, but wouldn't the NCAA still want to collect that fat paycheck from CBS for broadcasting the games--even from empty arenas? That represents substantial revenue for the individual schools. If that goes away, it's just another example of how the economic impact of this cascades across the country.
Perhaps CBS would find more viewers than ever before as people barricade themselves in their homes and hunker down around the TV set with hand sanitizer and the remote within easy reach.

Someone else mentioned on here earlier that making the NCAA tournament a true regional tournament could be part of the answer to limit travel. Seed the bracket so all the early round games are bus trips. Find smaller venues and limit attendees to media and family.

Obviously in the scenario I posted above, there would be a delay of a few weeks before starting the tournament to get a better handle on the situation.

I just want them to have a selection show on Sunday so I can see Cincinnati on the screen. At least at that point it would feel somewhat like a tournament appearance.

It's funny... we've all been saying we aren't looking forward to sweating it out on Selection Sunday if we don't win the AAC tournament. Now, I think most of us would be happy to sweat it out just to have the damn tournament. Crazy stuff.

Any delay of even a couple of weeks would necessitate new venues I'm sure, so your idea makes sense.
These big box venues likely will be filled already with concerts and tractor pulls in the ensuing weeks. Of course maybe the tractor pulls will go on with no one in the arenas. Must see TV for some; not for me.
Imagine the NCAA record books with no champion in 2020? I'm guessing it happens either in empty arenas or after a delay. But many universities wrap the semester by the first of May so the window is pretty short.

Let us face the fact that the year is over. Sad but true. We won the AAC and The Tourney.

Yea, kind of hear breaking. The more I think of it imagine players like Jaevin, who I don’t believe ever had a chance to participate in the NCAA Tourney, and now that chance will probably be taken from him.
I get taking precautions, but I also can’t help but wonder if some people are overreacting.

We won the last two tournament championships so we'll go into next season as the defending regular season champs and 2X defending tournament champions.

Wouldn't be surprised if UCF didn't declare themselves 2020 NCAA Men's Basketball National Champions by forfeit...
