Word on the street is that Bolton made a bet with President Trump about the tariffs on China. If Trump lost, the US would take a stronger stance against the Norks, and if Bolton lost, he'd follow the President's lead on Venezuela. Bolton lost, but refused to honor his wager. Thus, President Trump canned him. Cannot think of any parallels in modern political history, but it appears as if one welches on a bet, there are consequences to be had. If only there was another example of such an arrangement...…….Honor must be served.
