Yep same here. Get as many as possible to keep sanctions on Iran, and let Israel and the Saudis deal with them in other ways. We sell them plenty of military hardware so they can deal with the region.

I'm no fan of Bolton, although he could say the right things at times, but I still don't get Trump wanting to have a sit-down with the Taliban honestly... which is part of what forced the resignation as Bolton was opposed to this proposed meeting as well.

maybe he simply wanted to feel them out diplomatically now that they've essentially been reduced to rubble w/o a solid financier and decide later how sand becomes glass longer term...he gave them a choice

they responded as per usual....he simply turned around, and gave 'em da finga...

however, if you're looking for solutions that truly involve peace and prosperity (of whatever sort), diplomacy with strength is always first method in the eyes of 'the globe' that is currently dependent on a strong USD...reactionary strikes or extended warfare solves nothing unless one chooses to skip many a step along the way and play to win out of the gate....

Bolton can write another book and go back on tv, Trump keeps being Trump.
