There are two lines this week that appear to be a tad high imho. After Rice gave Army fits at Army, i did not expect to see that big of a spread. I also feel Charlotte is getting low balled. After having a pretty good rush defense, i think they have a puncher’s shot if they can shut down App’s run game.

UTSA is getting low-balled also. I don't think we'll win, but we'll be competitive. Baylor beat a bad FCS team by 39 last week (SFA, who finished 2-8 last year), so I'm not sure why odds-makers expect a 27-point win over us this week. Baylor only beat us 37-20 last year, and last year was the worst year in our short history.

Boise should be favored by more than 12 1/2 at home after beating Florida State on the road last week.

Disagree. The FSU team will be lucky to get bowl eligible.

On what basis? Marshall will have the better defense heading into the game (and better than what Boise saw this week), and I think this game is basically going to come down to can the Marshall offense generate enough in the red zone to win the game.

I did not expect Boise with the freshman QB to be able to make that rally last week even against that Willie Taggart coached team, so tip of the hat to them for a comeback that showed strong discipline and good coaching adjustments. Boise will get some scores this week, but I think Boise is playing a stronger opponent this week than they played last.

Boise State has lost a total of 19 games to G5 competition in the last 16 years. Their record vs. G5 in that span is 159-19 (.893). And they lost only 5 home games to G5 competition during those 16 years, all by 7 points or less. Whether we agree or disagree with the line, Marshall has their work cut out for them.
