Wake Forest (1-0) @ Rice (0-1) - Tough call, Rice played well against Army but Wake's Newman passed for 400+ which Army doesn't do well. I think Rice makes a game of it but the Demon Deacons prevail by 10.
9:00PM Marshall (1-0) @
Boise State (1-0) - The Herd head out to the blue gridiron of BSU. Boise won at Florida State against a decent FSU team while Marshall thumped a hapless VMI team so I have to go with the Broncos by 17.

UAB (1-0) @ Akron (0-1) - The Zip were unzipped rather viciously by the Fighting Illini while UAB escaped at home over what has been a dreadful Alabama State game. Lets hope the Dragons show up in Akron. UAB by 3.
Noon Old Dominion (1-0) @
VaTech (0-1) - The Monarchs edged what is normally a fairly weak Norfolk State team while Virginia Tech lost at BC in a league battle. I imagine the Hokies want a little payback for their collapse last fall. Va Tech by 20.
3:30PM Grambling (0-1) @
LaTech (0-1) - The Fighting Tigers of Grambling lost to another in-state FBS team in ULM and this will be another one. The Bulldogs will not have much trouble with a team that is quite a step down from the Longhorns. Bulldogs by 27.

Miss State (1-0) MSU - Southern Miss wants to show the Bulldogs from Starksville that they can play some football too. This should be a solid battle. Look for the homeboys to eek one out by 6.
3:30PM Charlotte (1-0) @
App State (1-0) App - In a battle of Carolina teams look for the boys from Boone to pull away from the 49ers. Would love to see Charlotte put some pressure on though. App State by 13.
4:00PM UTSA (1-0) @
Baylor (1-0) Bay - The Road Runners put on a pretty solid show against ICU but this is not the Cardinals. Baylor also dispensed another Southland foe and will take care of UTSA in Waco. Bears by 20.

UCF (1-0) @ FAU (0-1) - The Golden Knights just flat out ran over the Rattlers and the Owls lost at Columbus to The Ohio State. I just don't see FAU being able to hang with UCF for 4 quarters. UCF rolls by 24.

FIU (0-1) FIU - WKU was embarrassed by the Bears of Central Arkansas at home although UCA was likely the best FCS team CUSA faced in week one while FIU drown in a series of Green Waves and absorbed a wider margin than expected. Look for the Golden Panthers to pull one out at home but it should be a close one. FIU by 3.
7:00PM Tenn. State (1-0) @
MTSU (0-1) - The Nashville Tigers head down the road to Murfreesboro to do battle with the Blue Raiders in a somewhat crosstown battle but this FCS team will not get one up on MTSU. MTSU by 21.

North Texas (1-0) @ SMU (1-0) - The Ponies of Ft Worth went into Jonesboro and took one from the Red Wolves and now host the Mean Green from Denton. I just don't see the SMU defense stopping Fine. Look for North Texas to get a pretty valuable road win over SMU by 10.

Texas Tech (1-0) - UTEP did get a W right out of the gate but Houston Baptist is not Texas Tech. The Red Raider's latest gunslinger is Alan Bowman and he should pick apart the Miners secondary. Texas Tech should have little trouble. Texas Tech by 24.
