Point #1, I root for a team 4.5 hours away (Rice) from where I live (Denton County).

Point #2, I’ve worked in Norfolk, and I’ve worked in Sterling. I heard the DC Metro even goes there now. Same state, same license plates. (Enjoyed both areas by the way).

Since you've worked in Norfolk, I hope you've been to a sports bar on Sundays. It's like walking into a rainbow. We don't really have a common team we root for, it's a giant melting pot of different teams thanks to not having a team nearby and having a lot of people such as yourself here who aren't born/raised here. Yeah, I think it's as different as it can be and still be a dragon. They could have called themselves the Blue Dragons or something and switched it up a bit, though. That Blue Dragon name kind of works for Seattle, too, imo. Use this with the "S" already built in:

I think there is an argument that both logos are pointing right, both only show the head and neck of the dragon, both logos are curved in the same way, they're both spitting fire, and are both the same color. That is not the only pose a dragon can be shown in. They could have used a full dragon, the head in a different pose, etc. It could have been an honest mistake but it's just too similar.

By this argument you could say the Southern Miss / Iowa logos weren't that similar either but you saw how that played out

Litigation on this matter might take longer than the league actually survives, so...
