LSU getting all the crystal ball picks for Watford now except Brooks Hansen (Memphis 247 guy) who flipped his to Alabama. Either way, doesn’t sound like we’re getting Watford. Guess they turn up the heat on Precious. He and LQ have both mentioned playing together and we’re an extremely good spot for LQ as of now.

No matter how it shakes out, this is so much more exciting than sitting around waiting on Tubby to bring in some jucos. Heck, it wasn’t even Tubby, it was the fat assistant who tweeted “BAM!” that was doing the recruiting. Tubby, Saul & Pooh - what a trio.

The “fat guy” (Joe Esposito) was the only one on the staff that worked hard. However, I agree. It is much more fun now following recruiting than it was in the Tubby era.

What’s best case? Hampton, Quinones, and one of Precious/Watford?

No way they both come right?

We just put 4 in the tourney with 3 of the biggest/historic brands all being down and not included (UCONN, WSU, Memphis). It's already a power conference in basketball.

hampton has to be re-rated into the 2019 class..if he is kept top 10..itll be extremely close to duke to tell

He’s already been moved to #7 in 2019 on 247. Adding LQ, Precious & RJH gives us the #1 class by a fraction over Duke.

Like I said before, Memphis getting a killer class is actually helpful for the entire conference. Great pub.

Exactly!! Non power conferences don't get #1 recruiting classes in one of the two money sports.

While it sure doesn't hurt, the door will get broken down by consistently getting 4+ teams in and getting teams to the second weekend.

One team getting the number 1 class won't make the conference a power conference.

(To be clear, it's still good. But no one is gonna look and say that because Memphis gets the 1 class that all of the AAC is a power conference. Only tourney results will do that)
