Kind of out of our control.
A standard was used against our school, that had never been applied before...and has never been used again.
The same guy who applied that standard...was the AD for a school that has been nailed for cheating in football (Miami) SEVERAL times. That's like letting the foxes guard the henhouse.

The folks here trashing Memphis should understand the arbitrary and capricious “strict liability” standard has the potential to club their program.

Who is trashing Memphis? Again, delusion.

Ah. So Memphis has been to the ESPN Final Four 3 times. That makes more sense. Congratulations, guys! Simple misunderstanding that led to us talking past each other. Though, to be fair to my share of the blame in this miscommunication, I did specifically ask if we were talking about the NCAA Final Four.
