You'd probably love it, my dude.

The class is titled "Leadership Lessons in Insurgent Warfare and Football Strategy."

If Wazzu was any smart, they would post the videos online for a fee.

Reminder to follow the Yahoo Sports guys to keep up with the FBI hoops investigation. Wade is dirty. Hope this Duke stuff for Watford flames out:

Yep. LSU just sitting on a time bomb. Like Ole Miss did with Freeze. It seemed inevitable that this would come up again in the new trial. The judge in the October trial ruled them inadmissible for that trial only. https://www.nola.com/lsu/2018/10/will_wa...clean.html

"Judge Lewis A. Kaplan ultimately ruled the evidence inadmissible because it was irrelevant to the case involving the defendants, former Adidas employees Jim Gatto and Merl Code."

NCAA says they are monitoring:

"The legal ruling, however, does not shield Wade and LSU from NCAA scrutiny. In fact, NCAA president Mark Emmert, the former LSU chancellor, told USA Today this week that his organization is tracking the trial "very closely" and plans to "begin our work ... as the opportunity arises."

THIS is why there is little reporting-- this is a completely bogus waste of taxpayers money the schools are not victims, they are the beneficiaries of the system.

Anytime you have a socialist pay system , you will have a black market-- the black market in college recruiting helps bring market "wages" to players and their families. Unfortunately some "uncles" end up with the money instead of the players and their parents. None of the "uncles" are going to jail only the bag men.

I believe you mean capitalist pay system, wherein the workers are exploited and are not fairly compensated. Neither capitalism nor socialism are inherently evil economic systems. It is only in their abuse that harm and disproportionate wealth distribution occurs.

Man, you are obtuse.

See if you can follow, Ncaa has a socialist pay structure, all athletes are paid the same. Supposedly. Because all college athletes do not have the same value there is a natural tendency for a black market for their services on order to achieve a more market based compensation level. Shoe companies, boosters, and coaches operate in this gray area to recruit players.

Which leads back to my original question, “why have the journalists not exposed this black market gray area?”

There is nothing in it for them

Nobody cares about players getting paid when they should be paid.

RE: NTR Columnists not reporting Adidas scandal
NCAA isnt a capitalist or socialist system. Stop projecting you political beliefs on what is really an illegal, closed system(NCAA) that the schools run themselves to ensure that as much of the billions of dollars that are created go to those running those schools/programs at the expense of the people who actually create the value of the product(the students). Its organized crime more than anything. But because they have degrees and wear suits on TV we think they are ok.

Keep seeing where Will Wade was suspended (on MTO).

The bigger story, imo, is that Bill Self and Sean Miller still have jobs.

They were smart enough to not get caught on wiretaps. Bill Self had some texts but he was sufficiently vague to get away with it.
