Under the weather most of the weekend and first part of the week so a little late getting this midweek thread started. There's already 3 games from Tuesday postponed so those aren't included and there may be more I missed

Wednesday:

USM host Southern (originally scheduled for Tuesday)

MTSU at Kentucky
Rice host Sam Houston St
MTSU host Belmont

Rice leads @UH 3-2 in the middle of the 4th.

Rice also plays home vs. Sam Houston tomorrow.

Tech went into the 9th 4-3, and (will likely) lose 8-4. Absolute choke job.

Its not over but I am not that confident.

Tech loses, 8-4 final.

ODU beat Campbell 4-3 with 2 humps in the 9th!

Rice wins 5-3.

Good to see Rice winning ballgames.

Rice turning it around after a hellish start to the season. Back to within a game of .500 after consecutive wins against #12 Baylor, #16 TCU and #32 Houston. No rest for the weary, however, with Sam Houston State (6-3, with losses coming to Texas, Miss St and VA Tech, all in close games) and Oklahoma (11-1) x 3 upcoming this week.

According to our website, MT hosts Belmont today and travels to Kentucky Friday for a three game weekend series with the Cats.

Southern Miss will be the biggest disappointment in CUSA this year and arguably all of college baseball.

That was one of the 3 games postponed on Tuesday (along with USM hosting Southern) so it's now added to Wednesday as well as the Rice/Sam Houston St game

Charlotte was supposed to play 2 at Arkansas, but Tuesday's game was cancelled due to temps being in the 20's. They'll play just 1 today.

UAB lost to Alabama. Had a chance at the end but came up short. We cant seem to win these one off games.

Southern Miss beats Southern 8-3 this evening to end a five game losing skid...

Rice blew a 9-5 lead vs. Sam and lost 10-9.

Oh well, big series coming up this weekend vs. OU.

Would be quite happy with a series win.

We lost to Belmont with the Bruin getting 2 runs in the 9th. Beginning to see a trend here! MT really struggles when we have an early lead (i.e,, Memphis) or when trying to close out the opposing bats in late innings. Gotta get some RELIEF!
