I don't think so either. It's quite possible Coach O will see the playoffs next year.

beautiful place but they are trying to stop growth

My sister is a long time resident of Boulder. A green belt surrounds the city like a moat and land is scarce. Homeowners "pop the top" and expand upward rather than tearing down and rebuilding like in Nashville.

It is a hip, affluent town with thin and fit and well educated people wearing nice clothes and driving Subarus. Housekeepers, nannies, and gardeners fill the driveways by day and leave by night.

Cool story, bro.

If he wants to Coach in Colorado,
They will build him what he wants anywhere in boulder
I just hope he stays another 3 yrs with us
He has a good team returning but, I wonder if Darrell declaring would have a effect on his decision
I do think the lack of fan support does not help

If Louisville can come up with $14M cash, Auburn can come up with $30. We need a respectable Iron Bowl Saturday. If it is a total blowout, I wouldn’t be surprised if they pull the trigger on Malzahn. I just hope that they’re scared away by Norvell and Malzahn’s Tulsa connection.

if he wins the conference championship...it may be harder to keep him here.
After the 4th loss, it looked as if keeping him until next year wouldn't be so hard.
But if he can rebound and guide us to a conference championship...teams like Louisville/Colorado might overlook the 4 losses this season and take the plunge.

RE: Colorado job opening...
Personally I think Coach Norvell is a better recruiter and Coach than Coach Fuente and I really liked
Coach Fuente
Point is if a Elite program wants Coach Norvell money won't be the issue and we all know that.
Now I've lived in Memphis and I've visited Boulder and if I had to pick one with no financial worries
Boulder in a new york second
Mike is a good Dude hopefully he stays a few more years and gets us bumped into a better conference
And I do believe if we support our football program this will happen sooner than later

Hopefully family ties may help keep him here a little longer than usual and make his list of dream jobs more limited.

RE: Colorado job opening...
If Norvell is our coach next year, one thing that will help narrow any potential list of other jobs for him to look at, would be to have far fewer empty seats when the team runs out on Senior day.

We do okay, but if I am a young coach wanting to rise in my profession, I would like there to be much fuller stadiums. We are doing better than we were. But we can do even better next year.

I am worried that USC strikes out on several candidates....looks at 4th quarter of Houston game and falls in love...

Unlike a lot of spread, hurry-up teams, we are really physical in the run game.
