While both teams may be young, the difference is UC currently a top 25 team. There is no reason that they don't get better going forward.
We are the third youngest team in college football but we have 3 senior starters on the defensive line and 4 on the offensive line. Broughton, Copeland, and Fitz have been the anchor of our defense; to say we don't have important players in this class is far from true. We're definitely ascending but don't discount some of the talent in this small senior class.

He means that if we had a backup ready and Fritz went to him. The offense was designed for a SR. QB(Banks) who popped his pants in the 4th quarter and OT vs wake and we lost. Uab he fumbled the team into a hole and pooped his pants on the the final drive in the 4th Q. Against SMU same thing popped his pants in the 4th quarter and fumbled away the game.

Milton isn't grad transferring and leaving the team he loves behind. His family is all in on UCF and moved here from Hawaii to be closer to him. He will finish his college career a Knight. Hopefully it's not until after next season and still with the active win streak entact.

84 total players on scholarship
29 freshman (34.52%)
13 sophomores (15.48%)
23 juniors (27.38%)
19 seniors (22.62%)
An exact 50/50 split between underclassmen and upperclassmen. 5 of the seniors are grad transfers. Will be really young on defense next year, losing 9 starters (although if you've watched our defense, is that REALLY a bad thing?). Will have a TON of skill/experience on offense next year, returning 9 starters.
Temple and Cincy are gonna be nasty next year. Memphis will have their shyt back together. ECU and SMU could surprise. The AAC is gonna be mighty strong next year IMO.

No, you have to include all your practice squad walk-ons which are inherently younger as most quit so you can skew your numbers.
