I get to watch a game yay. Of course the production values suck (at least the announcers and graphics do). How in the world can Jay Hopson be in his 27th year as a head coach with a 48-28 career record?

Not a super first drive by the Rice defense but we get some breaks and we force USM on downs. They said Silcox didn't make the trip? Also, Nywakol looks like he got hurt on the first play?

SoMiss sidearmstats sucks. Just says Rice punted, SoMiss went 0 and out and Rice drive starts.

USM RB gets free in Owl secondary. Pulled down inside the 5.

Owls hold USM to FG. Botched snap helps on 2nd down.

Simple shovel pass nets 75 yards or so for USM. Terrible play by one of the defenders who should have stopped it for a brief gain. But they had 1st and goal at the 2 (Nywakol was back and saved the TD). And then we held them to a FG. 3-0 USM.

Rice holds USM to the FG. Eagles with a lot of self-inflicted wounds.

Ekpe was who stumbled and allowed the huge gain. Nyakwol again saved the TD with his hustle. USM has had some big gains but also some bad plays on offense (drops by the WR, stumbles by the QB).

Owls running game is going nowhere so far.

Passing game is worse. INT on overthrown ball. USM 1st down inside Owl 30. TD pass on 1st play. 10-0 USM.

This looks way too familiar.

Stankavage with the pick. He (and the offense) look awful to be perfectly honest.

Terrible pass and tipped INT.
