Facebooks economic influence is immense and if it continues an upward trajectory the government should step in.

Facebook’s control isn’t unlike railroads of the past.

haven't we had discussions about antitrust issues relative to facecrap and a few others....

it really gets old rehashing the obvious.....

there's quite a few folk that don't care about giving up their identity....even I know who gts is w/o him telling me....

the beauty of me is I'm off the grid and don't matter.....

that's a slice of heaven....

No, but from everything I know (including others who have met and know him) he's a weapons grade arsehat. And while it seems on the up and up do I believe he knew and intentionally liquidated all he could reasonably get away with? Sure.

I don't like him. And I realllllllllllllllllly don't like how invasive his platform is. Especially when it is wielded as a political tool.

If I didn't need FB for business networking I would have already deleted my account.

Here's another reason not to like him:

Periodic updates on HS friends.

Literally, nothing else.

Also helpful for determining who you know is bat **** crazy or incapable of discerning between propaganda and fact. Gave up trying to explain things like "No George Bush never did that" and "No Nancy Pelosi never said that" and started blocking every site with that sort of "Liberals Can't Stand ___" and "Conservatives lose their minds when___" linkbait crap and the amount I see never declines.

I've deleted the app off my phone and use it to post links on my web site account and quickly drop in to see what is going on with my cousins on the family group we set up and even then I do so on a Linux box with Firefox locked all the way down and all my privacy settings as restricted as permitted.
