RE: Recruits for 2017-2018
I had recently checked a game of his before this one - which his team lost. I don't recall his line, but he had scored something like 17-19 or so. (Don't quote me on that - it's been 3-4 days.)

Daivien Williamson highlights at a recent tournament. Man he has a knack for getting to the rim.

That first move at 0:08 is jaw-dropping. After watching it 4 or 5 times, I *think* I know what he did, and I *think* he walked, but still jaw-dropping. I love how he can use the left hand, and obviously is just exceedingly quick. He's very "slithery", and reminds me a bit of Cooley - but more and better. And no doubt - as I said earlier - there *will* be ankles broken.

Obviously, we now need another big, and Forbes said he was recruiting in NYC after the Fordham game. Hmmm....

Does anyone know why we haven't officially announced Daivien? I could have missed it.

Yeah, I like that behind-the-back 'escape' dribble more than that block.

What a ballgame! Slight edge to Herro, but only that.

Not really sure where to put this, but anyway.
Coach Forbes on the radio this morning on his way with Coach Savage to Memphis for a home visit and to watch a high school practice.
Interestingly, he noted that after a player's sophomore year there now were no restrictions on numbers of phone calls from coaching staff and no requirement to log such.

Also interesting to note... Forbes and Savage are DRIVING to and from JC to Memphis. what a shame we don't have a way to get them there easier

What better way to make several stops throughout the state for in-home visits. Plus, for anyone holding a Tennessee drivers license, a pilgrimage to Graceland is a must.

Recruits for 2017-2018
It's almost the same distance from here to Memphis, as it is from here to Detroit. We have a LONG state. I do agree with the being able to stop other places instate along the way, but if they are allowed to fly to other places of similar distances, seems they should be ok with a flight to Memphis.

It is budget dependent. There is no University rule or policy that says travel to Memphis/in-state travel must be by car.

Lead dribbles with his left hand which to me is his big advantage. Looking at this kid's film he'd be quite a catch. Any ideas what kind of offers he had coming out of high school?
