Daivien Williamson, a PG from Winston Salem, NC, is reportedly visiting this weekend.https://www.prephoops.com/2017/10/daivien-williamson-nearing-decision/
Apparently Drexel loves him, and he had good things to say about visiting there, Wofford, and JMU. Getting lots of offers lately, but all mids. One of his friends was recently offered by Lees-McRae, not that that really means anything.

See him listed anywhere between 5'10" and 6'1". Looks closer to the shorter end of that scale to me. Very quick. Fast, too, which is slightly different. Can certainly deal, as well as score. Good student.
He'll like Forbes's up-tempo style. I think he wants to decide pretty soon....
It may not mean anything to us, but Mac McClung decommitted from Rutgers.

Whoa!!
Rutgers just never made any sense. The power 5's must be calling.

I got the distinct impression that he felt his stock had risen somewhat over the summer. I guess we will see...
I want this decision to mean that hed reconsider ETSU. Realistically, I think, like RRTguy, that Mac's projecting to go to a high profile major program.
Looks like Mcclung decided on Georgetown

Don't see this as his last stop. So glad Forbes & Co. passed on him.

Maybe I missed something, but didn't we offer him? How did we pass on him? I seem to think he passed on US, but I don't know the kid or have any inside info.
He passed on us...as well as many others.
Some one can correct if I am wrong but I am thinking we were the first D1 school to offer him.

Rey has signed with Illinois State, I wonder if Collins now being there had anything to do with him signing there instead of ETSU.

Looks like we've landed our first commitment for this class: D'Andre Bernard, 6'8" F from Ga.Highlands C.C. Bernard started his career at UNF.

Looks like he'd recently got a lot of offers, but ETSU may be the highest profile one (although Lamar, Canisius, Coastal, UIC, Eastern Mich., and Robert Morris aren't *too* shabby). Ga. Highlands was 69-3 the last two years. I guess he's just played there one year, though. Out of Toronto originally.

Kid can get UP. I mean U.P. Like UP. Like head-at-the-rim UP. (reportedly 42-in. vertical) Nice outside stroke, too. VERY athletic. I like this kid. Hope he academically qualifies.
He should be a great replacement for Burrell, maybe an upgrade if he performs and muscles up?
I think he's a morning athletic version of Kenyona Swader.
According to Joe Avento, Bernard has verbally committed!

Bucs land 2nd commitment of the week. This kid is a dynamic scorer!
