Pro ball is different. The teams are all good (relatively speaking). Losing all of a 4-gamer in college is far worse in terms of implications.

Possibly. He's shown flashes of being good.. so it strikes me as a confidence issue.

If his bat is better than anyone on the bench then move him to RF where there is less to do or otherwise a few weeks off to work out the kinks help.

The longer he stays out the worse it gets for Rice and for him personally with confidence etc.
