Ken Brown. It was in his bio on the staff directory page.

What say you? Is it time for this guy to get canned?

He made the tournament in year 3 of his tenure and then did it again not the following season but the next so 2 out of his first 5 years he took the ol Mountain Hawks to the dance. Something JJ cant notch on his belt.

Something your little snip doesnt show is that he took over that program 2 years after they went 1-28. 5 years later, he had them dancing. Also something JJ hasnt done 5 years old from 5-25. Old Dominion is a much more recognized basketball program than the Lehigh Mountain Hawks.

But to answer your question, yes I would let him go. He showed what he was capable of doing (2 NCAA appearances in 5 years) and has since regressed.

I didnt know this was a secret but I'm pretty sure most jobs across America are performance based. When you perform, you get paid. When you stop performing, your pay doesn't lower, you get canned. Unless you work for the Feds and in that case they just transfer you to another dept.

I'm game for this. Where? Hair of the Dog? Cogan's North?

Anyone else want to join us?

Cogans is ideal, better parking. Dirty Buff works too.

Let's do Cogans. What time were you thinking?

Anyone else want to join us?

No, that's fine with me. I may get there a little earlier (about 5:15), but 5:30 still gives us enough time.

Nothing deceiving about $1 slices on Thursdays.

I'd fire Brett Reed.

Yes, that is someone that has the ability, but lost the drive for whatever reason. It would probably do him well to get fired and start over elsewhere. Most coaches, outside the elite few, eventually run their course and get complacent. We also don't know if internal restrictions on recruiting are in play, much like JJ had at American, where admission standards make it non-competitive. He could wind up somewhere else and be right back in the tournament.

There is so much conjecture in this post.

What he lost wasn't drive, but CJ Mccollum.

How many of our bitter fans even attend home games?

How many posting here actually live in the area too? Maybe you should see where our location is before you question our ties and support of ODU basketball. Sorry Im not in the 757 and dont go to home games.

I've watched every game thats been on the tube through whatever resources are available. I've probably paid more to stream games then the cost of a ticket or multiple tickets so with all due respect, please flip off.
I live in 757, but on the other side of the water with a wife that hates sports and 3 young kids. I go to as many games as I can, which will be 5 this year (plus I was at the W&M game). Weekday games are nearly impossible, but I did expend some honey do capital and went to the MTSU game. I will be there Saturday for senior night. I think we can do better than JJ, but I don't think Wood Selig will hire better than JJ so I support JJ keeping his job for the time being. I support Wood Selig being fired ASAP.

Coach, wish we could but we already have the long time Mac pre game party already set up. Pizza, salad and beer, Bourbon or sparkling water depending on whom.my group is cheap. 99 cent pepperoni pizza from Lidl ! I'm in the sparkling water phase currently, doctors order! Did have a post game Jameson after the Marshall game though.

Have fun, maybe we will see you at the game. Let's get to 23-6.
