maybe they can donate some of the proceeds to the now defunct clinton fund......
Well there was a story on TMZ with Vivica A. Fox where she thinks should give the proceeds of the film to the black community. I think that was be a great idea. A lot of good use it would go to.

The team that manages these Marvel movie projects must be the most talented sonsofbitches every to assemble in Hollywood. I haven't seen a single disappointing Marvel movie yet.
The last Spiderman film was borderline because of a weak premise but still a fantastic production.

So what?
I hope it is great.
My daughters a Marvel freak and got me (back) into it after years removed from actual comic books.
Big fan of the iron man series, and watched a lot of Jessica jones, then Luke Cage. It’s not like black panther is something completely new and unusual.
Another superhero. Great. Hope he wins... beat them bad guys, Will Smith, men in Black style...
I went to the opening night at our local theater. The place was packed. The theater was showing Black Panther every 15 minutes until a 1 AM start and a Spanish language version every 2 hours.
It is a standard Marvel movie. It is consumed so easily and fun. The movie pacing moves real fast. The casting is great! Marvel really know what makes their characters popular.
My only complaints are from a challenger to Black Panther and the use of green screen.
If the person is supposed to be a CIA operative/Military Honored veteran, why would the actor choose to play him with street-level manners? I would think that a military operative, as decorated as this person who has experience destabilizing counties, would have a better presence. He would be better prepared to lead the change and not communicate like a street thug. That is too bad.
As for the green screen- This is an observation for all movies. If you are out in the sun, the sun visuals should feel warm. There should be movement in the air. The atmosphere shouldn't feel sterile. Africa is a place. It isn't an interior environment with a holodeck.

Always good ideas about what to do with other peoples money. I would guess that the first $185 million won't get them close to breakeven on the production cost. CGI be expensive.
Haven't seen Black Panther, or read this review, but enjoy the MCU and will probably go see it when the crowds lighten up. So I can't judge this review's premise.
But I may have to read it. After reading many other reviews, I got the impression that the villain sounded an aweful lot like a BLM activist, though no reviewer was coming out and saying it. I found that observation interesting, wondering if the reviewers were either oblivious to the villian's motives, internationally ignoring it or fearing to mention it due to blowback, or I was misinterpreting the reviews. Probably, all of it, I guess I'll find out when I see it.
I've heard from a few people it was very good, one of the best MCU movies. But they put it behind the first Avengers because the movie is too much "political setup" and not quite enough "super hero stuff"

There were a couple of times that I wondered if certain comments were necessary to the movie, but they didn't detract from my enjoyment of the film. They were basically throwaway lines in conversations and not central to the plot or even the scene.
Some might feel there wasn't enough super hero stuff, but I didn't. It had better character development, plenty of action, reasonable conflict and plot points to put this on top of the Marvel heap for me. I can see why others might prefer some of the other MCU movies, but I really liked this one a lot.

Cool, I hope it is a good movie. If so, I'll watch it from home just like I do most movies.
