Last I checked, the FBI was part of the executive branch. And it has been since J Edgar retired!

But they want the FBI to be able to tell Congress what it can and cannot say.

Yeah, not sure how a director that is appointed by and reports directly to the POTUS can be segregated from the executive branch. Chalk this fail up with all the "popular vote" nonsense.

This is actually a great move because there's a HUGE % of people out in social media that will not check if someone is correct or not. All it takes is for a idiot to point them in a direction and it becomes the truth.

It's been that way since Trump won the nomination and it's got worse after he was elected. Most idiots believe the FBI reports to no one and its against the law to check them.

J. Edgar Hoover just complained to Roy Cohn about how his instrument was being mistreated.
