Sure. Be what you want to be. Uc controlled the game despite not really being into it after the first few minutes.

Well, hopefully the team's upset with that performance because they're not going to get better if they're happy with it.

Not being "into it" is a good way to lose games you shouldn't.

Regardless, happy to get out of there with a win.

Especially for a team that struggles at the FT line.
This game should've been over...but UConn still has life because of it.

Agreed. We played well for 56 minutes today. Can’t let up, especially on the road.

Honestly played well for 59, just got a little unlucky too. Just missed shot clock on KW, and then Jarron Cumberlands 3 was a good shot, just circled twice and came out.

6/7 (6/8 since it was front end) on FT's in the last minute, gotta be happy with that too.

It's good for us to have to make some foul shots every now and then.

Thankfully we made FTs down the stretch (saved this game) but FT shooting % is not UC's strong point.

Never should've been down to making Fts given the lead the Cats had.

Major props to Kyle Wahington for upping his game these last few games. Always nice to see a senior end his career playing good ball.

Meh. It happens all the time at this point into the season. They've played 23 games now, it's hard to expect them to be fired up after starting a game like that. This game was wrapped up on 8 minutes. That's all that matters.

there just weren't enough possessions once we got up 19 with 8 minutes left. we even missed all our end of shot clock shots before they started fouling.

we would have had to miss all of them plus all the FT plus uconn make all the shots they made and still uconn would have had to make another shot.

If he and Gary can finish their careers the way Yancy Gates did things will be looking rather sunny

Sure... being consistent is hard, UConn is better than St Johns, and Duke is in a dog fight.

Uconn decided to take Gary out of the offense and let the others beat them and they did. Nice to have a team that doesn't have to depend on one guy to do the majority of the scoring.

Yup. Every time he got it in the post three guys surrounded him. That's what is so special about our team this year. We have multiple guys that can get hot and carry us if someone else is down. Remember some of Mick's teams in the past, that was a great work of fiction to have scoring options.

I'd say St. John's is a decent bit better than UConn.

Don't want to jump to conclusions but Mick's highest ranking is #7 during 2013/14 season.
