I prefer the Midwest for most positions, but I’ll take FL recruits at the DB slots. DB is the easiest spot to fill simply because the average American is about 5’10”. More of them. FL is top heavy with speedy DBs, who get spring football and lots of 7/7 work. Lots of athletes with skill sets that translate to a lot of defensive slots.

We've had success with Florida DB's for sure. But two of our best in recent memory in Phillips and Beal are Michigan guys. Receivers are a Florida staple as well.

I suspect that Lovely and Isma are going to push Obbie Jackson at the corner opposite Beal right away.

I don't care if the players come from the Moon. As long as they are good citizens, buy in to the system, and win.

Keep your eye on soph Tyrone Arnett from "Muck City" area that has produced over 40 NFL players. He has speed. Former Bronco and NFL WR Kendrick Mosley played a role getting him to Kalamazoo. Luke Sanders will be a star at WMU once he gets experience and 15-20# on his 6'4 frame.

Is Clayton gone? He's still showing on the WMU roster.

Clayton is still here. Buick was saying that Clayton would have been our best linebacker if he played last season in 2017. He will be here for this season, the 2018 season.
