Oh Boy, the Georgia Schools again. Just who we needed to face after an okay road trip.

At least you'll have the home court advantage . . .
. . . of course, The Alamo was also the home field . . . .

If Arkansas State Basketball home games are the Alamo...what would that make Texas State Home Football games? Little Bighorn?

Aaaaawwwww there you go. . . mixing apples with oranges . . .
Besides, everyone knows that TXST Home Football Games are more like the Titanic.
The games starts out like a luxurious cruise. . . . Everyone in the stands carefree, happy and hopeful. Until the second half. . .
. . . when we hit that damn iceberg . . .
and sink like a rock . . .

The next three games will tell the story for the Cajuns. All on the road.
ULM--NEVER easy in Monroe
Then Georgia State and Georgia Southern.

Yes, but surely you guys have reached the point where we have with basketball where instead of the carefree lifestyle, there's this dark sense of foreboding, and sense of impending doom, followed closely by thoughts of "Why the hell did I spent 11 bucks to come watch this again?"
I mean, that sounds like deciding to go back in time to be on the Titanic, only to have your time machine break down minutes after you arrive.

Just remember BB was invented so guys would have something to play that wasn't as rough as football. If you remember that....Well it can't be that important. Right?

Looks like the Georgia teams are both going to win in Arkansas, and we've got close ones with the Carolina teams visiting Texas.
We decided we wanted to see if we could dig ourselves out of yet another early game hole, just because playing well the entire game is just boring.

Panthers close it out in Jonesboro 77-66.
Not much talk in here this evening. I'm guessing the matchups, storylines, and surprises just aren't there to get people talking tonight.

Somehow we shot 36 percent from the field, 15 percent from three and 66 percent from the Free Throw Line and managed to stay in the game until the last few minutes.

Yeah, I'm buying more and more into the idea that this league is pretty even after the Louisiana drop. I think we have a very good team but not a step above most of the league like we had in the RJ years. I do look forward the Cajuns coming to Georgia to see how they fare.

Yeah. We've got a ton of Size, depth, talent, and experience issues, but we seemed to stay in that game a lot longer than I thought we would, especially given that we were playing 2 on 5 most of the night given the way a bunch of our guys struggled.
