The people polled before the shutdown that they did not want a shutdown. That includes Democratic voters who were against it as well.

Can't be Tom and the others told us this would all fall on the GOP and finally break Trump..

Pretty sure if you check back around the time Garland was nominated for the SC those same people told us that would cost the GOP the Senate and the White House.

These Democrats are just really out of touch living in their bubble. How could they think this was a good idea?

Some of my friends are saying they are going Independent after Schumer's stunt. We need new leadership in the Democratic party. Even Dems in both the house and Senate are now throwing Schumer and Pelosi under the bus.
