It would be ideal for Penny to come on as an Asst with a guarantee of being promoted to HC at the end of Tubbys current contract

However there is no way this would happen. Even at Tubbys age there is too much ego involved.

No coach of Tubbys level would do this. Wish he would but it’s just not gonna happen

In Tubbys mind he will lead the Tigers to many NCAA bids until he’s 75
