Obviously, all women. I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head.

The more Tubby wins and restore us to relevancy, the fewer will care about using odd words like "obedient" when referring to his players.

My fixation on it is due to the offensiveness of it. I have children, I have grandchildren, I have employees. Never once in my life have I ever told someone they should be obedient, or obey me. Have you?
BB, you act like it's the eff word. But at least you admit your odd fixation, similar to your odd fixation on criticizing our coach every day.
And yes, obviously I have told my children to obey me. The bible says "Children, obey your mother and father, for this is right." Does that offend you?
And you seem to very easily offended. The anti-Tubby cabal just will never be happy. '83 predictably jumped in on Post 6 to passive aggressively attack our coach. Don't worry, we are going to lose more games this season. Then you can post again about how lazy and senile and overpaid Tubby is - you know, your idea of fun.
I have never used the word "senile when referring to Tubby. It disgusts me. I have never - to my knowledge - used the word "lazy" when referring to Tubby. I think he works hard considering his age and wealth. Find where I used the words "senile" or "lazy" or retract your statement.

False, I will be pleased when we are relevant. In case we forget what relevancy looks for schools outside the P5, see examples like Xavier, Gonzaga, WSU, and Cincy.

RE: Obedient!
good grief
I'm one of the biggest Tubby detractors on here, but this isn't something to be upset about. We are expected to obey the laws of the land or go to jail. We are expected to obey the rules at work or be fired. Getting outraged over this is silly. Would you rather go back to Pastner, his players lack of respect for him, and those tendonitis suspensions??

No doubt. I notice it when observing the younger generation. They react like bees to flowers.

RE: Obedient!
Odd thread indeed. The idea that the word obedience is considered objectionable by anyone is ridiculous. Obedience is required for success in any endeavour. Obedience to rules, to parents, employers, the law, to elders, even to natural law of our environment (when it's bitter cold you better find warm shelter), to anyone in authority over you - in every instance obedient is required for success.
Some really strange ideas...especially when there is such angst against our coach. I suppose it has caused some to lose a clear sense of reality.

Reminds me of a line from Aqualung.
Kidding. No offense. 'Observing the younger generation' just registered on the creep factor with me. I won't flip out and start a thread on it though, lol.

No offense, but connecting an innocuous phrase with a lewd lyric and then posting about it is unsettling.

Not offended. I wasn't trying to offend you or imply anything. Seriously. Just where my mind went for a second. Probably the flowers to bees thing that sealed it. I have a strange mind. Hesitated to type it, but I did.
Sincere apology if I offended you or you took it personal. Not a subject I should have even broached, even as a lame joke, but it wasn't aimed at you. Would have thought the same thing had anyone posted it.
