Football / Basketball success the past 10 years ranking - UC #10
http://www.ncaa.com/news/ncaa/article/20...ccess-last
Who's had the most combined college football and basketball success in the last decade?
10. Cincinnati Bearcats
Combined overall winning percentage: .654
Postseason winning percentage: .400
National championships: 0
Final Four/BCS bowl game/College Football Playoff appearances: 2
Consensus All-Americans: 3
The Bearcats have bounced around conferences, but they’re been solid, if not spectacular, in both sports.
Cincinnati has struggled lately in football, but Brian Kelly had the machine rolling once upon a time. The Bearcats won at least 10 games three years in a row between 2007 and 2009. In 2011 and 2012, they won 10 games back-to-back years under Butch Jones.
On the court, Cincinnati is a consistent winner. Since taking over in 2006, Mick Cronin has won 22 games or more seven times, all in the last seven years. Cronin’s Bearcats are consistently one of the best defensive teams in the country. In the old Big East days, perhaps no program represented the conference better.
The Bearcats don’t have the postseason success some of these other schools do. In fact, they’re the only one that has a sub-.500 record in playoff games. But there’s something to be said for a school that, year after year, produces a quality product. That’s a lot more difficult than it seems.

Lance: His blog was all about Bengals, XU, NKU, high school basketball and debating whether Saban or Belichick's run is more impressive.
Moe: Bengals, NFL, NBA, NKU (in fairness to Moe he did have Chad on his show yesterday afternoon).
Doc: Last thing he wrote about was to call out the rec league BB coach up at Kings (Doc works sparingly these days-- this was from a couple days ago).
