Unfortunately, LSU employs the twin tower strategy by starting 6-11 and 6-10 players. Rebounding is already a problem for us.
So, they're picked to finish last in a football conference and only a 2.5 point favorite over one of our least talented teams in years? You know, I was teetering, but now I'm convinced Tubby is screwing the pooch. That one did it for me.
Personally, I had this one picked as a loss, mostly due to their size down low and their tall, experience backcourt, but my family and I will all still be there cheering for the team, having a good time, and hoping they pull out another win. GO TIGERS!!!

LSU is now only a two pont favorite. I am surprised, but bow to the wisdom of the betting public as adjusted for Vegas “vig”.

Please, let’s not start making LSU out to be something they are not. At best they are a fringe NIT team.

If Tremont Waters is such a good example of the importance of recruiting high level talent, why is LSU picked last in the SEC?

Is that all? Wow. They must not be all that great.
They were picked to be last in the SEC
Ok, well that explains it. Maybe we can win. However it’s not good that Nickleberry is likely out because he’s been sick.
I am always suspicious by nature when players sit this time of year. Hopefully he is actually just "under the weather" as coach says.

First off, he’s a freshman, and it takes more games one player, you get that right?
Second, they have a first year head coach, named Will Wade, who was hired over the summer and immediately got two top 100 recruits. He also has a top 10 recruiting class signed for next year with 3 top 60 players.
Think about that, a coach who was hired 8 months ago has already signed more top 100 recruits in 8 months as Tubby has in the last 16 years. And he’s never coached at a big time school, nor is he at a traditional power. Will Wade was at Chattanooga and then at VCU for two years.
Oh, and he’s also won as many tournament games as Tubby has won in the last 12 years even though he’s only been a head coach for four years. I would also probably think they will be in the top 25 next year and competing for seeding in the tournament while we will not.
This is not the example of a coach or a school you want to pick to compare Tubby and defend him with.

Yes, but according to KP they are 81 slots ahead of us.

He’s definitely not going to play because he’s not warming up. He’s just watching his teammates. But I think he’s really sick because he just came off his best game.
