I don't think he had an official interview, but unofficial talks were held. Word is he trashed the MAC, wanted to know what our 'exit plan' was, and was pretty much an ass.
Compare that with the front-runner (TL) who loved WMU, loves the MAC, loves Kalamazoo, and wants to be here. Simple decision at that point.

We’re not allowed in the postseason tournament because of the conference we’re in.
We are much better off safely back in Cubitland though.
