I get it. Not to kill the Boca Bowl, but in 2014 when Marshall went 12-1 and on the cusp of top 25 status, a lot of fans were mad we got the Boca Bowl.

But this may be the worst team to face our champion in quite some time. You ought to hang 70 on Temple.

Noone has indepdently confirmed brett mcmurphy and its been over an hour. Im almost ready to call BS. This may have even been a trial balloon that sank like a lead weight.

As I said....you should have voiced your concerns to those that mattered. FAU makes this choice.

Why would I complain about something I knew was in place for years now? If you want your team to play P5 games.....

maybe you should be on your AD about replacing the FCS game to a P-5 road game. Or try to get a 2 for 1 vs a P5.

All fans know it's a long shot that their CUSA will get a P5 bowl game. You are acting like this is a disgrace. Hell the only sure shot is to go 13-0 then you might have something to ***** about

I understand no one cares. So I go to bowl games to see my team play. Not who they are playing.

Did you really just call playing the 2nd or 3rd place AAC school or a beating down 6-6 P-5....prestige?

That is your choice as CUSA champs. Your other choice was to go 13-0 and hope to beat out UCF for a NY6 game....prestige

If you don't make the Access Bowl, most teams are guaranteed a crappy bowl. It's been that way since the CFP comes into existence. If 10-2 Memphis hadn't lucked out with the Liberty Bowl this year, we would be playing UAB in the Bham Bowl which wouldn't make our fans any happier than yours are now. It's just the way it is.

Regarding FAU vs. Temple, could this be due to FAU trying to minimize their costs of going to a bowl in order to negotiate their best possible package to offer Kiffin a new contract? If so, I think the fans should be on board with it. Temple has still been a solid team in the AAC this year and should FAU win convincingly it would be still be very good for the program and the conference,

SB Nation has updated their site with just confirmed games and it has FAU vs Temple in Boca. Haven’t seen anything official but that is one of the games they have as confirmed.
