Liberty Bowl vs Peach Bowl
We can't lose! First time in history that we can have our cake and eat it too!
GO TIGERS!

I almost hope we lose and sell out the Liberty Bowl, but I don't.

Eat our cake and have it to.

Somehow over time that saying was turned around. Of course you can have your cake and eat it, it is eating it and still having it that can't happen.

Win/win. Maybe the only time in history. Soak it up.

More than any bowl we've ever been too and less than weve had to give back for cheating at basketball.

Exactly

Isn’t the payout the same regardless, re: league sharing? I want the Peach, too, but wouldn’t we get the same money anyway from the conference if UCF goes?

I lived in Atlanta for 25 years and I lived in Memphis for 20 years. Either way the Tigers are playing in my hometown now. Coming to the new Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta will be quite the new experience. It is so awesome - almost like going to Disneyland. Playing in the Liberty Bowl will be an old traditional experience. Either way the Tigers are winners. But for now let’s go for “Peaches and Cream”.

Ill have to look at bylaws again, but i think the school gets half the fpayout and the other half goes into a conference pool to be split 13 ways. Bigger thing is no other bowl on at time of Peach

I say Peach. I love the LB game, but the Peach pays more, and has a wider audience. And to be honest, I don't even know if Tigers fanbase would sellout the game. This town just does not support Tiger football. And a crowd of 55 or 56K would be a terrible showing for the hometown team.

Liberty bowl sells out every year since the SEC/BIG 12 tie in.

If we play in the LB this year, it will be a hard ticket to get. Any BIG 12 school will bring 15-20K fans. There will be 45K demand from our fans. That is a hard sell out.

I'm thinking about the trip if we make it. That place is ridiculous.
